Definitely swelling. Great job on your girls!!

Means a lot, thank you !! I could insure more bulk by continuing to feed them till week 8, but then I would lose taste, and natural smells. Give me a couple ozs less, and more quality, any day !!

So much for an inexpensive organic grow !! LOL !! All I used was the Earth Juice bloom, molasses, bat shit, Fox farm big bloom, and I was top dressing with 'down to earth brand' 4-6-2 all purpose, all organic. With organics, I figure whatever I feed today, will not benifit the plant for a good 10-14 days. I went to school on that one, and if i had to do another organic grow, I'd want it in a room that I don't go in, except to service the plants.
Pics on Day 45 are pleasing to my eyes !! They got fed 500ppm for last two days, starting tomorrow 300ppm for a couple days. That'll bring me up to the start of week # 8 & plain tap (130ppm ph 6.0) water for 7 to 10 days. This is the time in a grow when I start getting excited !! I'm hoping for some more swell, but we'll see !! And if I followed the fertilizer mfgs. feed schedule, I'd be feeding at about 12-1300ppm for another two weeks. Even my local hydro store advises to do what the schedule says,' so I say to him, that's because you sell it. Truth is, some of the best weed I ever grew was with composted cow shit and good native dirt. I've lost my outside grow spot !! And now I got all these plants, planning to go outside about June 1st.. Too old and run down to go gorilla style !!

I've never tried anything from a bottle but that sounds easier. The amendments were cheap though. I'll post pics later in my thread. It's like $3-$4 for 3 of the smaller size and $12 for the seabird guano and about the same for the leimgbenite. I'll make sure the deficiency Is over before flower and I'll keep up on the top dressings. Definitely takes a bit to release.

Oh man so close to harvest! They are looking mighty tastey! I'm sorry to hear you lost your trusty grow spot! Any chances of finding another? I couldn't imagine doing a gorilla grow either. Sounds like a lot of work and risk.

Everything is looking awesome mate :) doing a great job dude :thumb:
I was wondering why I hadn't got any notifications from here in a while, somehow I had been unsubbed, all good now though, not going to miss these girls finishing up :)
I was checking your place yesterday, and you are one of the most precise, organized growers, I know. I guesstamate about another 10 days. I cut their diet from 1000ppm to 500ppm for two days, and from tonight, 3 days of 250ppm and then just water for the last week. Really hoping for more swell !! Size does matter !! Welcome back friend !!

Looking really good In there slowpuffer, them buds are looking absolutely delicious, great work!
Thank you so much !! Starting tonight, they're getting fed 250ppm for next 3 days, then ph 6.2 tap water for a week. Hoping for more swell & feeding them water, don't make sense ??
I flipped another grow yesterday, but I think it''s better for me to just have one grow journal, all under one umbrella. I'm gonna do a little experimenting with this one, in that I'm going to recycling the run off. I'm also going to go strictly by ppm, not what their schedule says, and I'm cutting ppm way back (1/2 of mfgers recommendation.) I will up ppm if leaves start getting lighter color, but from everything I've read, I think all fert. cos. are lying about the amount needed, to get the job done. I'm hoping to not go over 6-700 ppm, at their peak. I been recycling waste for a few mos. now, and it's working fine in my veg. tent. If this works, it's going to slice my nute bill in 1/3d. !! And I have no waste to dispose of !! Thanks for stopping over, TK !!

No worries pal, really looking great in there. Nice, I really like that idea of slowly tapering off the nutrients until you get to plain water. I think you will definitely continue to get more swell pal even though you're just feeding water. I learned from Cultivator that when you flush your plants it helps them finish off strong and helps increase both yield and quality so I think you're going to be just fine and seems it does make sense after all ;). Yeah I think that cutting back on the nutrients is a great idea and will be a good experiment. I don't think I'd ever feed full strength, it's far to strong from what I've read. I think nutrient companies are telling us to use far more than we actually need to be using in hope we get though that bottle quicker and purchase another. I'm doing exactly the same I just go by EC when mixing up nutrients. Wow that's really interesting about the recycled nutrients, I'll be very interested to know how that works out, that will be a huge saving. Have you been getting much run off then pal? I haven't watered to run off yet myself. Don't mention it, great to be here checking out that nug porn pal ;)!

I'll eventually get to no run off, but I'm just not confident enough yet. I figure with a little run off, I can't screw up as easily. This is after 1 day in bloom. The two on L are cheese, the one upper R is critical+, & btm. L is og kush. These germinated on inauguration day, so they're good size clones. I water each 5 gal bag with enough to get just a little run off, and I know you told me no run off cult, but for now I just feel safer with a little run off. The last few days, since I started cutting back on the ferts., I been watering to heavy run off, 1/2 gal runoff per 5 gal bag. When I go to water only, I will start watering to hardly any runoff for last week. Anyhow, they're all healthy and growing like weeds.

Amazing, your bud shots are getting better too! It's hard shooting close ups under the CMHs i find as well, washes out. You are gonna have a shit ton of medicine!:thumb:
That's with my ipad, and my kodak has a micro mode, & think it does a better close up. Will use the kodak tonight. I want a digital microscope, it's on my wish list. Close up didn't work. Too much glare !!
