Wow the purple from that bubba looks amazing. I can see how the 6-8hrs for the last four days would work. It seems a lot like the theory of letting your plant go in darkness for 24-48hrs It would be hard to tell the difference since your plants already look top notch

My hood is attached to the ballast. Guess maybe I don't know how to do what you're saying. Are you saying separate the ballast from my hood & replace with an air cooled hood? how would I attach it to ballast? It sure grows some 1st. class colas, that's for sure !!

Day 55 bloom went uneventful. This was the 6th. day of water only. If i thought they were done swelling, then I'd harvest tomorrow. but, unless I'm seeing shit again, they're still swelling . Trics. are at about 35% amber, so light will be turned off tomorrow night, for the duration ( probably 3 days). Don't know if I'm gonna dry it in same tent, of switch plants, and dry in another tent. it's a pain in the ass moving heavy pots, but I think the cheese, critical +, and the og kush will be better off blooming under the lec light. So my old lazy ass will get er done. Fed the other 4 700 ppm. tonight, I'm gonna go against the fert. mfgers. schedule this time, and see what happens. Instead of 13-1500ppm, Im gonna try & keep it under 1000 at the highest. i ran out of mammoth p, so these 4 will not be using it, as I can't afford it now. I'm still using great white, and supplement with calmag, & silica blast. The crop that I'm harvesting, was over watered from start to finish, but this time I think i got the drift of what cultivator said about no runoff . It's difficult for a ex soil grower to adopt to watering coco, without runoff, but I'm working on it. I've found that 1 qt. of water , saturates a lot of coco. But I'm always wondering if it's reaching the far corners of the pot & thats the skill, knowing when the corners are wet, but not saturated. It's more difficult than I thought !! they getting close now.

I do, as we can tomatoes and there's probably 100 in basement. Tonight will be their 7th day of water only, then two, maybe three days in the dark. just pondering if I should continue their daily watering, while the room is dark, or not. don't want any mold !! NONE !! Thanks GreatWhiteBud, and I'll get some bud porn up at about 10-11 tonight. This is my veggies.

I thought they only drink while awake during lights on? I always have watered at least 2 hours after the lights are on and they are awake and with at least 8 hours of light left that day.

I water about 30, mins. or less after lights come on. i think they drink 24/7, that's my belief, maybe more when light is on, but I think they feed in the dark also. If you notice, your major growth happens with lights out. But BF told me one time, that he didn't like his girls setting in a dark wet medium, and it made sense, so now I water when light comes on. I think I'll let the pots dry for two days, and then water them about 6 hrs. before chopping, that way plants will be full of water when I hang them. Might give me a little more hang time. last harvest, the rh dipped into the 20s, like the day after I chopped, and there was nothing I could do with the equip. I have, I jarred them at like 3 days. medicine is still very potent, but taste suffered, somewhat !! After smoking good organicly grown weed, there's nothing can come close !!

Wow them buds look fantastic slowpuffer, you're going to have a great harvest thats for sure. You're definitely not seeing things, the flushing is definitely helping the buds finish hard, they're still swelling

Now really alot of reading, but Grebs did it to his grow and says it made a big difference. So I'm doing it to this grow & I do have some awsome colas, but I can't swear it was the back building that made them . I mean they tell you to do this at the exact time that the major swelling takes place. I will say again, awsome colas. !!

Thank you TK. I've read and have been told by friends that the dark period fools the plant, and make it produce more resin. I did same thing last harvest & I don't know if it made a difference or not, i convinced myself that it did !! . I switched the harvesting plants into another tent, and moved my new crew into the lec tent. They're 2 wks. into bloom. Two cheese, 1 critical +, & 1 og kush. According to what I've read and been told by others, all 4 stinks like roadkill skunk. Pedistal fans on sate at walmart shoppers. 17.95 16' pedistal !! How the hell you gonna beat that !!

I have a blue dream plant that makes the krippy look like a runt. tomorrow during the day light hours, I'll take them out for photos. Then give them a drink in the afternoon, and chop tomorrow night. Probably trim two of them and finish the next day. Hey, i wanted to ask you, is that air pump loud ?

I have a few air pumps. The commercial one is loud but not too bad. I can tune it out while the tv is on. It's kinda like white noise and I don't mind it. I have it in the living room, it might be too much for the bedroom but I haven't tried it. Its the eco1 commercial anything bigger would be too loud for my apt. The little two prong that runs the Dewey is pretty quiet. I put it on top of like foam and I don't hear it and that's in my room. Its not silent but its pretty quiet.

Hi brother! Loving the journal. Been keeping up but not much time responding. Been Running around my state looking for some machining equipment for my garage. I flipped the clones a week ago today. they are ok in size. nothing much more than the last but these are in 5 gallon bags so maybe ill get some more growth still. Not much time to let it go as summer is coming. Temps would prolly be ok where I'm at but I need to tear down and re clean the whole room. It gets dirty fast. Just now popped open one of the jars to use. Took this long to get through all the scraps I had from trimming. Prolly had close to a zip just in that. Been a good few weeks. Nice not buying it. I have enough to last till the end of the year at the very least. Plus whatever I get out of the clones. Gonna prolly flower the clones longer like 12 or so weeks, just to see how they turn out.
Anyways I haven't forgot about all of you. Just trying to catch up on everything I put off while I was concentrating on my first grow
