But these plants are only 33 days. I take one out of tent every time I feed (at lights on), makes it much easier to water. Now that I've turned them 1/2 turn, I got bare spots, and the center is more crowded, but we'll see what happens. Just trying to give them all a little of this good cmh light. It reaches the farthest corners, of the 4x4 tent, They're in that lull after the stretch mood, any day, they gonna start bulking up. I'm thinking about trying , back building, but I'm hesitant . I'm in the 5th wk. and their telling me this is the best time. Anyone have any negative reports on back building ??

The two girls in the back are CKS White Cookies and the front 3 girls are CKS Green Crack. I started the back 4 first and they are all being main lined for 8 colas. The tent looked like it had a bare patch tho so i popped another green crack bean and just topped her and will LST her into the scrog.

I've got 4 plants going, just one week older than yours, two cheese, one OG Kush, & one Critical+. They just came out from the t5 tent, 3 days ago, and now are under a 430w hortilux, set at 250w. I plan to veg them for another 10 days, and flip .

So they all got the back build trim tonight. Why have I never heard of back building ? Big colas is what it's about, and I'm all for that !! So now we'll just have to wait & see what happens. Feeding them at about 1000 ppm. I defoiled. at 21 days into bloom, and they already need it again already. I'm still amazed at the growth rate between hydro & soil. This is my 2d. grow in coco, so I'm learning . As long as I don't drift to far away cultivators method, we'll be good to go . Day 35 bloom, 5 wks. old !

Backbuilding or not, this is the time they naturally swell, so bring it !! Did I tell you I bought one of them fancy microscopic lens, can't wait to get it. $10.00 ebay !!
I been thinking about bud washing, but thinking about it, don't get it done. my wife wouldn't let me, her exact words will not be repeated here. I've read good things about it !! But I live in an apt., and have to be somewhat incognito. I go inside the tent, and trim my colas, and If I have to bring it outside the tent, then yes, it's gonna smell. Let me know ?? Day 36 bloom.:thumb:
 
Today is day 4 since I did the back building, and I see no evidence of any out of the ordinary growth. But I'm waiting !! And praying to the pot Gods !!
Feeding them about 1 & 1/2 qts., @ about 1000 ppm, @ 6.0-6.1 ph, twice a day now, till I start water only, @ about day 50. Wish someone could tell me why my Bubba's gift clones wont grow ? Cloned them 3 times since last summer, and every time slow or no growth. They are still alive and have some green, but just wont go. Flushed with tap water about 5 days ago, but they don't seem to care. Anyone else ever clone Bubba's gift ?

I do notice less overall smell, and when I break a bud up, I don't get as much of that smell like comes rushing out. When I burp jars, I have less smell. What do you think is happening ? Could this mean I'm growing less trichomes ?? I know they get 10% amber, at 39 days, almost 6 wks. This light advertises it as finishing a week early, so these are 8 week strains under the hps, and makes me wonder, if I need to move up my flushing schedule. I got no problem with the earlier finish, as long as they have time to swell and I don't think that's gonna happen. I let them go 8 weeks last grow, and about 70% amber, just to get more product. And the product is very narcotic like. Nice at night, but not for going for a drive type weed !! LOL !! I have no way of photographing the amber. I

bought one of those clip-on 60x microscopic lens, but i can't get it to work. only under my hand held microscope, can I plainly see the amber trics.. does anyone know if there's a way to inexpensively photograph the amber ???
