The word "organic" has been abused so much that it's become pretty much meaningless to me when people throw it around.

The word "chemical" has suffered the same fate, just in the opposite direction.

I'd rather put my energy into growing good meds than argue about religion.

Sun, a couple of questions for ya:

When William's Wonder Violated yer Kush, did he produce progeny that is less stinky than the mama? I know it's gotta smell, but as strong as mom?

No, they don't smell as strong as mom, but I'm glad. Violator Kush has a very pungent musty/earthy smell that would occasionally cause me to have mild nausea, especially when taking the plants out of the tent to take pics.

That stench mellowed into a very nice flavor when cured, but it was very strong in bloom.

The NL/williams wonder didn't have a strong aroma, just a mild skunkiness, and these plants I'm growing now combine the traits from both parents very nicely.

They retain some of the VK earthiness, but it's mellowed by the NL/ww, so I enjoy taking these girls out. I almost dreaded taking the VK girls out, or even moving them, because they would release that pungent funk.

So I'd say that these plants smell similar to VK, but not as strong.

The stems on Vickey are massive but with the time left to finish, does the mass of the buds make you nervous? Do you plan to stake them?

A few days ago, I had to support two branches with ties because they were looking like they were going to break from the weight of the buds. It's hard to see the ties through the foliage. I squeezed a bud last night and it was solid.

Both plants are doing well and continuing to swell. I need to check trichs to see where things are at, but I think they have at least 2-3 weeks left. There is almost no evidence of the bleaching now.

Shrub is 17" and Vicky 19".

Very compact and stocky plants with fat solid buds.

I'm hoping that their height and shape is not just genetic, but also due to the GLH Spectra 300. Others using these lights have noted the same stockiness and very little stretch in bloom.

I want to grow sativas, and was planning on using Bushmaster to control stretch, but maybe this light and LST will be enough.

Hey SS. Everything is looking fantastic! I love these GLH grows and the girls look great. Hopefully they will fatten up to make for the past losses. I hope that is a trait for my glh 180 as well because I have a hawaii maui waui and I can only imagine how much lst will be needed to keep her short haha Looks like you will have a strong finish. I want to grow sativas, and was planning on using Bushmaster to control stretch, but maybe this light and LST will be enough.

You got my attention now. BM was my plan too(2), but I need a DIY custom ring-shaped LED fixture for top light in my 'cage'. I see convergence here.
Rockin indica can put ones' dick in the dirt, but getting sativa slapped stupid is fun.
I'm thinking to buy one of those, disasemble it, then mount + connect on a ring. duh
I must have smoked some PX today. Yup

Vitamin C??

We can't use anything with vitamin C in it for growing because vitamin C is ascorbic acid and it will drop your PH like a stone.

I wonder what 3.526317527 PPM would do to the pH? That's 1000mg dissolved in 75 gallons of water (I think).

Since pH is a ratio of ions, it could loom large in otherwise pure water.
I doubt my meter could pickup the hiccup, if I even checked.
But... I like chloramines in the water, except when I drink it.

lol, I was going for a tougher passing grade since I don't have a 7.5 gal bucket, but I'll find something that holds 7.5 gal. It does come in 100mg tabs, so that should be no problem.

I'll see what more info I can find and whether a soak is necessary or not.

I sure hope it's this easy and cheap to get those chloramines out for soil grows.

thank you Myzz! Even though my pic updates have been fairly frequent lately, you can still see a lot of bud growth from one update to the next.

I notice the growth and I see them every day.

This journal almost came to a grinding halt with all the male LR2's, so I'm real happy to be finishing with two nice plants.

I'm not done with LR2's yet. In fact, I want to grow and smoke some more than ever now, lol.

if you guys are going to use bush master or any of the gravity let me know 1st.. I have a buddy thats been using that stuff forever and has it down to the t.. Their is a certain way to feed with it that not on the bottle. I do know ur plant will only stretch 6" after giving it, but if done wrong it will deform ur leaves sometimes and make them wrinkle or burn the shit out of ur girls.. This stuff made by humboldt is no joke it will f up ur plants if not done right.. My buddy knows whats up with this stuff for sure, so i will ask him and give you guys the direction when you guys are ready to use it. I know for a fact that all their products work as claimed or better.. Gravity is no joke, but you have to use it at the right time or it will ripen ur plants too fast and leave you will fluffy permo buds.. If used too late and too long you will get rock hard buds that will be hard to break up and you will likely get bud rot
