2xCritical Purple Kush, 2xBadazz OG Cheese Indoor Grow

Whats going everyone an my brothas at 420 mag. Im going be a little daring and try this whole CFL outrage. This is a closet grow, a bit bigger than a regular size one. I started my journal a little late so these girls are at 10 days in. Been going through some problems and hopefully resolve these unwanted problems. However! I am eventually going to LED. Check it out:

Strain- 2x critical purple kush(sativa)
2x Badazz OG Cheese
They are seedlings in there 10th day
Indoor
Soil
Fox Farms Ocean
2x150 cfl(cool,2800L)
2x150 cfl(semi cool,2800L)
Air cooled
Temp is at day 79,at night 72
RH is giving me some problems. Its been sitting steady at 30%
PH is 6.9
Been watering them every other day/sometimes daily depending on the lights

So long story short.. Ive been experiencing were these lights should be at(distance) for quite sometime now. I dont want to stunt them. During all this ive believe is to be some nutrient lockout because of the tips and sides are curling up and bleaching. I accidently added a very minut dose of Grow Big to these girls and thinks thats a problem.

So i flushed the 2 days ago and found them almost wilting but still alive. Soil was dry so added more water. So here are some pic. There will be some that look great and ill throw the one that happened today.

3/22. Morning my fellow 420 mag friends, so yesterday i was freaking out because when i came home from work they were in a stressful state. Fortunately, this morning they rebounded over night and look good. Ive raised my lights to 6" from 3". Cant wait for my LED system to come in.

Girls are bouncing back good. Been doing better after a unfortunate flush. But i guess the only thing im trying to get right is the depth of the lighting .

What do you think of using the CFLs with the LEDs towards the bottoms of the plants

I'd do it-the cfl's do put out a little heat,but probably not enough to cause problems.
And if they do,you can just get em out of there.
I'm planning to supplement my lighting with either some cfl's or led bulbs,added for some sidelighting
when my plants get tall enough to need it.

I'm assuming it's the lighting that's giving them that yellow look,because
they look too healthy to be lacking anything.

But idk if you noticed i have 2x42w 2800 lumans but they are a soft white. The other 2x42w are daytime as is also the 4x23w 1600L daytime. Trying to make it simulate the sun with a little soft white

Thanks 420BudzFreak, first grow with cfls. I hear you about the patients. The only thing now that im having difficulty with is the diatance between light and plant. I have 700 total watts. Ive jumped all over the place.2"-6".

Whats the issue? Heat? With CFL you want them close. 2"-4". If they stress, back it off a little bit.

When I grew with cfl's I used a combo of warm white,soft white,and daylight bulbs,
trying to do the same.(simulate sunlight)

The heat is around 77-79. Humidity well thats been low around the 30s. I had to order a humidifier. See what i think happened was that i added a very minut mixture of FoxFarms grow big. 1/2teas per gallon. I feed them 2. Thats when they started to show signs of slight discoloration. Tips are bleaching and the main vain to some of the leaves or yellowish in color. So i flushed them a few days ago an they seem like there doing alright. Im not going to feed them for a while, atleast until veggi time
