I think I might put some more of the hemp seeds in paper towels to try my hand at that method too bignugz.

Sweet Sue has mentioned in one of her threads about solo cup autos and these are Finola ruderalis hemp seeds.

Could be a nice quick way to get that all important cbd flow coming my way.

Would you mind listing your steps for the paper towel method you use?
And thanks again for joining us here bignugz.

Glorious Tina...it is.

Once you see roots protruding your pellet, it's time to plant it, right in. DAngel was bang on. :)

These roots don't like light, so that is my cue, roots don't like light, get them in the pot, just a little rule I learned. I'm sure you already knew that.

I'm with you every step of the way. :Namaste:

I use peat pellets, but most people use the paper towel. This is your first grow, try as many options for what's easier. What works best for you.

Dampen a folded paper towel and put the seed between the towel. And put in a Ziploc baggie in a warm place . And check after 24 36 and 48bhrs for a taproot. I have had a taproot as fast as 18 hrs for a 1/2 inch taproot.

Thanks Islandgrow, I'll definitely give this a wee go tomorrow, thank you for being a part of my learning journey.

I'm totally trying to wonder which Island you are growing in ., maybe we could get some guesses from the fine folks that are following this journal. Only if you are ok with this Islandgrow.

Looks like Blueberry has decided to join the party folks...

Ive helped my little one take that heavy hat off too and letting her take her time to open up to that light.

I'm loving seeing every single stage developing in my girls already, it's not even been a full week since the first appearance.
I'm totally routing for my seedlings already. I didn't think it would feel so involved with my plants as I do.

I know that if I can get these ladies to the finish line that myself and my family will be able to get relief from a massive variety of medical issues.

1 plant, many medical applications. Nature knows how to heal.

It would be an amazing privilege to take suggestions for a name for my little bubba Blueberry.

Aaahhhh you know the island I speak of hahaha. Just kidding if you want to guess go ahead I will be truthful if you are correct.

Ever been to the Caribbean.?

Good morning everyone .
Yesterday Glorious Tina got transferred to the tent and tucked in to start her growing.

Then it was learning time for me again, let's se how I do with this method of germination. These are all hemp Finola autos.

Today is my birthday so let's keep the fingers crossed that I get a present of White Widow popping out to say hello and that I have some taproots to show on the hemp seeds.

I hope you are all having a great day filled with love n laughter.

Little lady Blueberry decided she wanted to join her big sister so up in the loft she went.

Still no sign of White Widow yet so I had a wee check, the seed had dropped too deep I think so she's been helped up a bit.

Let's see what happens, my thinking is that naturally the seeds would be under soil from autumn to the next spring so I'll be patient and see what it does.

That tank you are adapting is almost like a bigger version of my "spacebox"?? The idea for which came from another thread here about "space-buckets". :)

Am just waiting for seeds to break surface before putting 22 plants in there to try a "puddle of green" grow.

Will to have some photos of the setup on my current journal in a few days if you are interested.

If you are into recycle /DIY, i use salvaged 12V computer fans for ventilation in my tent and spacebox. They are pretty much continuous duty capable and are shifting enough air for my plants to be happy.

Good luck! :)
