My Goodness - thank you ALL!!! Been busy and pretty tired here. Went to the hospital at 2:30am for oldest son's baby delivery... she ended up having a c-section this morning and we now have a new lil grandson named "Wyatt".
So granny's got her sixth grandchild! Two sons with 3 children each and one son still to go.
dfw - you said the seedlings look like they should look - I SOOO agree!
They are growing incredibly well LIKE THEY SHOULD. I don't know why I thought I should try rockwool with these since I'd never used it before. Yesterday I identified the pre-flowers of a third white widow female slide. So I'm discarding the 2 sickbay white widows that I won't be needing (I can clone better WW plants now). I looked at the root structure and it was as I suspected. The roots were just straight down and didn't go far at all past the rockwool - very scimpy. Maybe I used too big of rockwool (2")??? I don't know, but I won't ever be using it for seeds again!
I also believe I identified a second male (the biggest G13 Haze) and two more females (BOTH Thai Tanic). Thus, I think I have identified 6 girls and 2 boys so far from the unknown gender plants.
Plants are doing real good. The largest are going to be bushes by the time the smaller ones are ready in a couple weeks.
Today the largest WW female is the first to have her side growth grown out enough to tie a couple branches outward so I could open up the center growth again, keeping my canopy going. Hopefully I'll get some nice clones outta the center of this one. Here's a pic, the top and the 2 side growths I have tied down form a triangle, opening up the center.
That's is outta me today. I'm pretty tired and don't know if I'll have the "big sisters" of our new lil grandson later so I'm gonna look around here for just a little bit and then go dream of white colas... Take care all!!!
