1080w LED Inferno

Just me thinking out loud but the fact that your RH jumped so high is an indicator of how powerful and efficient the unit is. As I see it when your RH goes up above say 25%, your cooling power decreases so the answer might be to put the Swamp cooler on a cycle timer to see/saw the balance of RH to desired temps. Btw, Intermatic makes a digital timer that if I remember right, cycles up to 96 times per a 24 hour peroid. .V.
p.s. If you do go this route the trick will be to find the fine line between your on off cycles to keep eyerything in balance. At least that's how I see it.

When running a swamp normaly you half to open a window if cooling your home. But with the size of your swamp and space It might be helpfull to run swamp on low and keep your exhaust on constant.Today with my new air af-310 temps are 78 30rh.But I did pull my nets out of my bubble buckets and swiched to different solution bucket I normaly put infront of my window to swich it up a bit. This is prob.why its at 30%.But if your growing ice or skunk streins they like the higher rh as long as its fresh and moving. But some streins that are more indiginouse to dryer climates will most definatly give you problems like buddha for example likes to be well drained minimal nutes little water and dry climate I havent grown it yet but I have a neighbor which is old school and he is having hard time with her.

i am learning my unit is over kill. 450sq unit for a 68sqf room.lol i need to down grade.

i like your unit but i dont like how the pump doest shut off when the water runs out from what i was told? i see that being not good for me if i leave home, i will fry the shit out of the pump. how long doest you water last for in the tank?

Mine has a beep when the tank gets low Then if you dont put water in it it turns pump off.It is smaller but perfect for your room.I would not recomend turning it up the fan realy kicks out some wind.I would browse air and water.com for newest models. The unit holds 4L the tray pulls out from the bottom with huge opening to put included jel pack and ice.It has a lot of features and it was only 90 bucks for all in one invironment flexability:surf:

Very healthy gang you've got going there, I think those girls like a hot time :thumb:

I've got a question about the silica. How tough does it make the stems? I'm thinking of ScroGing. Being in a crawlspace, I'm liking the pest resistant properties of the silica, too. Do you think the stems will be flexible enough for that?

Thanks :peace:

oh it does turn off when the water run low? i talked to the sales rep and she told me that it will burn out the pump and wont shut off, i would have to do it. thats the reason i never bought one. how long dose your tank last for?

i like this one NewAir AF-321 but wondering if i will still run into trouble because of over kill? i like the big res on it.

do you know how many sqf you cools? whats ur sqf that ur cooling?

thanks!

they should be as long as you dont feed them the silica for a long time before you scrog. IMO

also its hard to say because my leds make fat stems as it is, so i am sure it would be less them mine are.

The 321 has a larger cooling pad it may raise rh a little more it is only 5 more watts than the one i have.I think its a good buy but not sure if the pump turns off but it prob.does I would down load the pdf instruction book it seems to have all the features the 315 has just a bigger cooling capacity I like to keep fresh water in mine I think I fill it once a day but i didnt pay atention cuz ive been playing with jel packs to see how cool i can get.I havent filled it to full capacity I like to keep it fresh but if you go somewhere I can see where this would benefit.I would say it would run all night.:peacetwo:

ya i think ill get both NewAir AF-321 and NewAir AF-310 witch ever one works best in my grow room ill keep in their and the other one can go into my bed room. if i can just drop my temps even 10F* i would be happy. i am thinking the one you got works good because you have a smaller pad so the RH% stays down and
its making it run cooler. the time i also like about these is the air filter.

i read the manual and didn't see where it says it shuts off with low water, it said nothing on that subject.

for sure the one you have does? if so then i dont see why their upper models wouldn't? that would be retarded

Yes I just double checked it and let it run out.It started beeping then cool mode turned off but fan still ran.It has a timer that you can also set for better peice of mind.
:peacetwo:

i just took back that other one and got a smaller one, and it does seem nice, cam with 2 gel packs. i will run her and see what happens? i got a good deal on it. so its worth a try. if it dont work ill take it back.

looks like you're getting your temps sorted out nicely.

I hate mixing a bunch of nutes too. Hope the GH dry ferts work well for you. OBX likes them, so I bet they will ;).

ya so far so good with that swap cooler. lowered my room almost 10F so far and the RH% is @ 17%. once those 2 ice packs freeze ill pop them in and see what happens. shit is i can drop my temps from 90F to 75-80F and keep my RH% low only using 75w i am happy:thumb:

ya i am gonna pick up some MaxiBloom tomorrow. its just cost too much to run the 3 part for me. all the bottles barley last me 1 grow if that and cost me around $40 something dollars, and with the maxi it will last me probably a year and cost me $12.

now i can mix a bigger res if i have to leave town and not worry about wasting allot on costly nutes. plus no mixing Micro string the shit out of it, then the grow string the shit out of it and so on. then clean up the mess that sometimes happen when measuring thing. i much rather scoup up a tsp on some dry nutes and mix it.lol

I was going to try the OC+ because of the ease of use and how cheap they are but i trust GH more and their the same price, and i can stop feeding when i want to flush. more control, witch i like better

Oh but the ways guys the girls are doing much better now. a good flush with H2O2 and a little cal/mag+ and PH @ 6.0 seemed to do the trick. their looking nice and sexy again at this moment.

DAY 19 OF VEG
I snapped a few pics of the girls today. i wanted to show you how these leds are stacking my nodes on the plants. its crazy my little runt girl is just stacked to the max. Ive never seen any of my plants stacked like this. its just nodes stacked on nodes. check out how even my LST plants are stacked with close nodes. also you can see the girls are back to health again :thumb:

hey irish your plants are looking good that light really keeps them stacked.
i must have missed the pages where you solved your deficiency issues.:smokin: Man this journal moves so fast i feel like the guy in the theater that gets the half gallon of soda and has to piss like 5 times. im totaly lost every time i come back. lol did it turn out to be a mag issue like you had though?
Also thanx to you and everybody else about the 411 on swamp coolers didnt even know they existed till this journal. im gonna have to add that to the budget for my next set up. but for this summer im gonna have to stick with frozen water jugs and a my window fan from the last grow. :rasta:

I want to share a tip on the GH maxibloom dry nutes -

I bought a fine mesh filter about 6" in diameter, and I pour the dry nutes in that while holding it just at the surface of the water in a five gallon bucket. I can grind up the big pieces of dry with my thumbs real easy that way, and let them all dissolve through the screen so you don't have to mix it forever to be sure it's all been dissolved.

Good tip plus rep Bro! .v.

Irish, the plants look like they pulled through good. I would suggest you make sure you have enough warrenty throughout July however cause it ain't even hot yet. Might have to go back to that bigger swamp cooler. You can always turn a bigger unit down but a smaller unit only has so much ass/oomph. Just my 2 cents...I'm Mr. overkill anyway LOL. Good job on the rebound, what fixed the plants? As said earlier it's hard to keep up. .V.
