No, I won't be doing any journals for awhile. I need a break from it. But, look for a "how to" on the flo n gro system and a test comparing bulbs and how well they work and how quick they loose thier ability to to stay bright.

I had no idea about the 12 million Indians (I knew it was a lot though). There is no end to the stupidity of mankind when it comes to relating to those we don't understand. Thankfully, we've seen a lot of progress in our lifetime, but a lot more is certainly needed.
I have to admit, I want to check out North Dakota someday, just to see for myself. I've always pictured it as a beautiful place, personally!

Getting closer to harvest at last!
The Jillybean just keeps flowering and fattening. Despite me gradually dialing down the daylight over the past week and a half (at 11 hours daylight at the moment) she just keeps adding new pistils and looks like she just wants to keep going.
Now that I'm within the last week, I am running the nutrients a little leaner on the PPM's. I have discontinued the "Grow" and dialed down the Micro and Bloom in the 3-part. Also running Cal/Mag at about 1/2 regular strength. At this point I've also stopped using Silica and Vita Blue, as I'm really trying to get optimal flavor this harvest. In a few days, I'll flush to prepare for harvest.
I'm pretty excited about this round, though I'm not expecting massive yields per plant, due to the way I crammed so much into such a small space. That's okay, though, as I'm not needing massive yields. The idea of this grow was to test drive a few new strains for future consideration, and I think that goal will be met with flying colors for the most part.

I'll be posting a review on it in the near future, but I like it overall. One thing that I've determined, is that there are pros and cons to battery powered portable vaporizers vs. butane powered ones. Each has unique strengths and weaknesses, and neither are perfect (unfortunately!).

- Fewer plants would have been so much easier to manage. The big challenge to the crowding was that it necessitated a lot of maintenance that I wasn't always able to do as good as I'd like.
- Defoliating and cleaning up the lower parts of the plants became nearly impossible at times with my back pain, and was exascerbated by the crowded conditions.
- While the mixture of strains worked out surprisingly well overall, the Pre-98 Bubba was just never able to keep up, and didn't get nearly as much light as it should have.
- I let the RH stay too low too often. It would have been better to keep it slightly higher for both veg and bloom. The low RH is a huge benefit at this ripening stage, though, especially given the crowding.
A few things that have gone well:
- Overall, given the strain mix, I was able to keep the majority of the canopy pretty even.
- The nutrient additives from Blue Planet Nutrients (ie. Seaweed, Vita Blue, Early Bloomer, etc.) got a full run this time, and I felt like they added some real benefit. Overall plant health throughout the grow seemed exceptional.
- No bugs to battle this round - Whew! Preventative measures seemed to be effective.
- Temps were ideal throughout the grow, and never gave me any concerns.
- So far so good with the mixed spectrum. The plants under the MH bulb are not only tighter as far as node spacing, but they seem to have a healthier look to them. The flowers are larger overall, too, though some of that may have to do with the strain mix and placement. Still, no complaints about mixing MH with HPS, whatsoever (at this point).

thats kind of alot of crap for a portable vape i cant wait for your review on it
did you try any of those oil vapes yet?
if you did or planning to give us a little review on that too lol
so anywho your girls are looking good even with the overcrowding
its a pain in the ass trying to move around a crowd and try to do shit
for me msp clone is coming down atm just taking a break in between branches
its a pain in the butt but worth it
hgk is going into bloom this weekend
did some cuttings hope they take
last round i only got 3 out of 4 im not used to losing any
clone is only about a third of the size of her mom so im not expecting too much but this one got 74 out of a 65-75 day cycle
her mom only got 65 out of 75, hope this ones more couch locky
so sticky smells so good but taste has something lacking either that or the resin is overcoming the flavor
hope the clones better...............
can wait for some nug pics and the HAMMA review

Out of interest X, you say your RH was too low - what does too low represent and what's been the impact of it being too low (has it affected yield etc?).

Hey Chronic! Haven't tried an oil vape yet, but I've definitely eyed them up. As far as the portability of the Hammer, It comes with some extra mouthpieces, but you only need the main unit and one mouthpiece. Still, not quite as portable or small as some others I've seen for sure.
Sounds like you have some great meds in the pipeline! Good luck with the flavor and couch-lock on the HGK. I used to not like couch-lock meds, but recent sleeping problems have me rethinking that a bit.
