Xlr8's "Flo N Gro" Hydro Multiple Strains 2011

We clean our hydroton in a cement mixer w/ some bleach water and dump it through a coarse mesh basket to catch the balls. Mixer is near the slop sink. Usually got 18 to 24 pails to do at a time, so it pays to "mechanize". We use the same mixer to mix soil.

Hey, xlr8, kudos to Stevehman on the chiller. He PM'd me some info and even drew a map for me on how to set it up. I bought a different brand since my local hydro store gave me one for about the same cost in the end. But boy am I happy I did it! So much less hassle.

btw, just updated with pics on day 8 flower. Doing great I think!

Cool - I'll have to get check out your gals. Thanks again. :)

OG13 - Sounds like a great way to do it! :high-five:

Stoner + problem + tools & implements = Ingenious solution, every time!

Picture Update October 21st - Day 29 Bloom:

Only have a moment, but thought I'd do a picture update. Things are humming along pretty nicely right now, and very little maintenance required... Many tops and buds doing much fattening though... :yahoo: :yummy:

These pictures are from Last night:

Amazing garden xlr inspirational stuff. Can just tell the level of experience you have every last detail tried, tested and mastered!

:Namaste:

Hi GodSpeed!

That is super kind, but this is actually my first grow with much of how I have things configured. I've tried to create ideal environmental conditions, and I'm pretty thrilled and fortunate that things have worked out to plan, as I've been trying to "master" them on the fly. ;)

I've really liked these nutrients from Blue Planet, too. Thanks again for the kind words. :thankyou:

Well you have me fooled then you are doing a great job I just hope my garden can look as beautifull as your does. I seem to have a battle with most aspects of my enviroment but as its winter now I get a good few months getting everything right.

Again nice work!

Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend! :bong:

I really appreciate that Jandre2k3, I'm excited about the Lucy, too. Thanks again!

Tiny update:

Some of the main tops that are near the middle of the canopy are starting to get some light bleaching. I didn't think I'd have any issues as they were looking so perfect, but I'm guessing that the crossover area between the 2 lamps gets pretty intense. Thought I was at a safe enough distance to avoid this... Guess I'm learning something about the intensity of multiple lamps with crossover coverage. Doesn't seem to be an issue to either side.

Unfortunately I don't have any room left to raise the lights, but maybe it won't be too bad. They still look really good and the bleaching is pretty minor as of now. I'll have more pics up in a day or two. I'm not too worried about it at this point.
