Woodsman's Northern Light #5 Grow

I got married at 19. It's doable but I wouldn't recommend it unless you are sure! My stategy was kind of like picking a kitten. Got to get them before they open their eyes so they bond to you!
You were using your pure natural predatory instincts :thumb:
Haha nice MC yeah my lady and I met when she was 16 and i was 18 we've been together three years but both of just aren't into the marriage thing but def a pretty serious relationship but good call on the kitten strategy haha and woods thanks for the chair man puffin on this stuff called casey jones right now and I'm sendin you a mental pass of the pipe my friend

Howdy 3lions and Mountain, Sorry I missed both of your posts!

3lions, thank you amigo for coming by and the good word.

Hey Mountain, thanks for passing the joint over, I needed that! Won't be long now that you'll have three diferent great smokes to choose from! That a great thing my man! " Hon, what are we having with the movie tonight? Lilbit or one of the others? This is you two on the couch....:rasta::ganjamon:

:peacetwo:

Thanks OMM I've put it in my 'things I need list' (desk top file). That list includes a pH meter, Soil - not too critical (ran a tiny bit short in my transplant the other day), Big Bloom (or something to add with my Tiger Bloom and molasses). that's really all I can think of as being either a necessity (pH tester) and, or at least fairly critical, the Big Bloom and soil.

Good news is my girls are doing fine this morning and will be fed in a day or two (still a little damp at 4 inches from the last watering). My girls really let me know when they need refreshing! They are very quick to droop or get a little bedraggled looking after about 4 days from their last water/feed. This is so for the larger plant more so than the other two.

I love that the girls actually tell us when they need something. Of course you need a little experience to know what they are asking for.:ganjamon:

Didn't work for me.....I realized 13 years later. Maybe I didn't know how to train her. In fact, she taught me never trust anybody. While I was out making the money, she was putting it away. She didn't work for 3 years after the divorce. Dumb.....and trusting soul, that I was.:smokin2::smokin2:

Hate the sneaky ones....almost lost my mind over one of those...literally. :ganjamon:

Hey Woods, thanks for coming by in Lilbit's final hours bro, she is hanging quietly in a box at 287 grams wet and 61 grams of quality trim to make hash from tomorrow.

:peace:

The first one was bad enough. But the second one, put me in therapy for a short while. Hell, I still miss her. Therapy didn't last very long, but it's really a funny story. I'll save that for another time.:surf:

I'll be over to see what you did to poor Lilbit. :ganjamon:

Wow, I hit the hay and all of you showed up! Sorry guys, I would have loved to been around here with you all.
Mountain just over at your house and congratulations on your ravishing, I mean harvest of Lilbit. Man besides some great hash your gonna get at least 3 ozs I think, huge haul of excellent home brew grown the right way!

:smokin2::cool::popcorn:

First check of the plants today and expecting to find them droopy and waiting for food, but not the case! the were all fine and perky. Even had to lower the pot of #4 to keep her leaves from getting chopped in the fan. We'll see, may wait till tomorrow to feed them.

Asked my wife yesterday if she would like to take a nice ride through the country to ******* were the nice garden shop is - that has the FF products i.e. soil, nutes and maybe tester - (out last time). Right off the bat she says 'no, can't be spending anything this week!' Oh well I should be OK till next week. No choice!

Hey, Woodsman. Just came back from a long hiatus. Just dropping in for some support and to subscribe to this thread. I'm hoping to get a new journal going in a few months once the weather warms up. Can't wait for the outdoor grow to get going. :thumb:

Welcome Bud stankalot to the show, find a seat and make yourself comfortable. Just read you outdoor grow. How was the smoke?
Plants are saying they will be fine if they are growing like that. Time to chill and observe.

This is the best time of the grow MC. Like you said, just sit back and watch them grow and make corrections as needed!:thumb:

I think my plants got the happiest looking when their pots felt completely light...and then a couple hours after watering them they ROAR into growth, the ladies enjoy getting their feet dry between soakings....I am gonna have a problem............I need a bigger grow cabinet. The babies are pretty happy in their new playroom...cheese has almost canopied her gallon bag.

Hey I am jonesing for pics... :ganjamon:

Peace brother.

I know you're right !!:surf:
Ya, we are all a little stressed out here in the house especially after a long cold and snowy winter. Being out of work is a major downer for us both, and having an uncertain future is not good either. I try to think positive knowing that with our efforts, something will happen soon.
It has become evident to me that if you treat your woman like you treat your plants it all works out.

I really try being patient with my wife (like the plants) I try to encourage her and she is receptive sometimes, while other times depression hits and it starts all over again. Soon it will be time for us to both get outside and do some work with the various gardens we have. My wife really gets into her gardening. I'll be out there doing the digging and turning of the earth (no tiller in this house - just me and a shovel)

Ya mine tell me they want something by looking like I do when I get up in the morning before I wash up! Except they don't get morning breath! They smell good!

In fact, all three are not odoriferous but when you rub their stems mmmm yummy! Each of them has their own unique smell!

I'm just sorry we didn't get a chance to see Lilbit as a mature adult!
