Woodsman's Northern Light #5 Grow

Can't quite see enough to be sure if your leaves have sort of a raised appearance between the veins of the leaves on the plant but if they do that's the sign of too low humidity. I do know that for veg you want something over 50% and 60-70% is better. I use a cool mist vaporizer in my veg room. Misting on a regular basis is also good. In a pinch a fan blowing over a bowl of water can help some.

I'll have to check the leaves, but It sure is dry so I wouldn't doubt it. Probably won't be able to put a humidifier in there ($) but I do mist them. How often can I mist them?

Not at all. I was thinking more of my tomatoes outside this spring! Also not interested in growing our plants outside but I still want to know in case I'm asked. I also remember using it when I was a kid for some house plants but that didn't last long. I think it was Shultz brand or something like that.

you should be safe misting pure h2O 4 or so hours before the lights go out and after they come on... you could even add some light micro-nutrients... i am using Schultz African Violet 8-14-9 and they seem to love it.

In veg 3 or 4 times a day is not too much. Make sure you raise the lights when you mist and get the top and the bottom of the leaves.

That I can do. It's like every time I visit the tent! Should I mix a very mild solution of fert with the distilled water?

a good alt. to fish gunk is guano... there are veg types and flower types

Hi HK, good to see ya! That's a great suggestion and I will look into cost. I used that on my only other indoor grow back in Cal. in 1990. Only reason I'm using the Alaska fish Emulsion is that we already had some around. I'll try to get some liquid bat guano for veg. Thanks bud!
