Ahhhhh. Handy to know. They can give off a smell right before they need a feeding too.
It might be just my imagination, but I swear I could smell it when I entered the room today after work. There is visible new growth today, new sprouts got bigger, new leaves are shaping nicely. I'm talking about the AK here, Jack Herer is still kind of tiny, given she is 3 weeks old, she even underperforms the AK at this stage. As far as I know some stink in veg,at least my LoRyder did-it stunk before it
graduated from the solo cup-it only stunk for 3 or 4 days, then it stopped till
it started flowering pretty heavy.
My other 2 plants don't even stink yet, which is a good thing-the little
LoRyder is stinking enough for all three...
Well, I think for the space you got, you better be glad that she isn't growing tall.Looking good Alice. Mine are smelling now too. Interesting to read about the spacing. My internode spacing is really tight at the moment. Just moved my lights up an inch or two yesterday but now they're pretty much as high as they can go. Ha ha. Have to see what happens.
No, I only tried to bend it with my hand, but the stem was sturdy. I heard that adding silica helps with flexibility, but that's only for my next grow at this point.Mine are bent over now and responded well so far. Did you put and anchor on the stem base before trying to bend? Hope they pick up for you. How often are you watering/feeding? Mine had their first at the 2 week point.
Looking forward to your report if you get the OnaGel. It would be wonderful to have an odour fix for "special" occasions.I was also advised in another thread that OnaGel would help a lot with the smell. Fortunately, it's available here, 14$ for a 0,5l jar.
The description of OnaGel says that it actually neutralizes odors with ions, though it can only be a marketing thing, who knows.smells better
Febreze is a similar thing in that it actively removes odours rather than just masking them. Like ONA.The description of OnaGel says that it actually neutralizes odors with ions, though it can only be a marketing thing, who knows.
I haven't heard about febreze, but looks like it's a regular air freshener, right?
Ona works great but you use it to deodorize an entire room. Never put it in your tent.
And as it turned out, it's also available here. I will give it a try with Ona, it's essential to remove/cover the smell in my current situation.Febreze is a similar thing in that it actively removes odours rather than just masking them. Like ONA.
Well if a chemical company says it works. Then it must. First hand experience be damned.Chemical Ingredients in Febreze | Febreze
