Wonderland Grow

As far as I know some stink in veg,at least my LoRyder did-it stunk before it
graduated from the solo cup-it only stunk for 3 or 4 days, then it stopped till
it started flowering pretty heavy.
My other 2 plants don't even stink yet, which is a good thing-the little
LoRyder is stinking enough for all three...
It might be just my imagination, but I swear I could smell it when I entered the room today after work. There is visible new growth today, new sprouts got bigger, new leaves are shaping nicely. I'm talking about the AK here, Jack Herer is still kind of tiny, given she is 3 weeks old, she even underperforms the AK at this stage.

Looking good Alice. Mine are smelling now too. Interesting to read about the spacing. My internode spacing is really tight at the moment. Just moved my lights up an inch or two yesterday but now they're pretty much as high as they can go. Ha ha. Have to see what happens.
Well, I think for the space you got, you better be glad that she isn't growing tall. :D
Though If you want to do LST, it might be better to let the main stem stretch a bit, it seems to be easier to bend it that way. When I started this grow, my initial plan was to lst my plants, but with this crowded growth I don't think I can bend her. I tried to pull the AK today, only with my hand, but all I can do is pull the whole plant. I should have started it earlier I guess.

I got the Alg-A Mic and the ActiVera today and put them to use immediately. The recommended amounts are 4-5ml, but BioBizz states that none of these can be overdosed. These two don't really contain any NPK (only very small amounts), they are mostly soil and overall health boosters. Due to this, I mixed about 3-4ml from both into 4l of water and watered both plants. I only gave them about 2,5l of this mix, then added about 1l of tapwater to the remaining 1,5l, and mixed 2ml of BioGrow and another 3ml of FishMix to it. I was about to pour this 2,5l nutemix on them, when I saw they were drooping quite hard. I have no idea what caused it, but felt like I'm waiting a bit with this additional watering. It was about 20 minutes ago, I still have about 2 hours before I go to bed, so I'll check them out later.
Is it probably due to bending them around? I don't think this AlgA-Mic + ActiVera mix could have caused it, but hey, who knows.

edit: I mixed 3-4ml of both into 4l of water per litre, so altogether it was about 10-12ml of both into 4l of tapwater

Mine are bent over now and responded well so far. Did you put and anchor on the stem base before trying to bend? Hope they pick up for you. How often are you watering/feeding? Mine had their first at the 2 week point.

No, I only tried to bend it with my hand, but the stem was sturdy. I heard that adding silica helps with flexibility, but that's only for my next grow at this point.
To be honest, watering is something I have to be more consistent with in the future. So far, I watered them every 2-5 days, but it was quite random whether I waited 2, 3, 4 or 5 days. I went with the feeling, often dug the soil with my hand, and if it was kind of dry, I watered. The amount of water wasn't really well planned either, there were times when I only poured a bit to make the soil moist, while other times I watered till runoff.
With nutes, I tried to be careful so far, the BioGrow and FishMix (the two which contain significant amount of NPK) was always about 2-3ml/l, but again, it was quite random how much I added exactly. If I remember correctly, the first two feeding was only Grow, then one with only FishMix, and yesterday I added both to the water.
When I checked back on them yesterday before bedtime, the drooping has disappeared so I gave them almost the whole 2,5l mix with AlgA-Mic, ActiVera, BioGrow and FishMix.

Next Friday (10 days from now), I'll pay the rental fee, which means that the owners will visit me. I still have a lot of things to figure out till then, I can only hope that odor will not be that strong yet. I think I'll get a day off the office for Friday, and for sure, I'll disassemble the tent for that day. I was also advised in another thread that OnaGel would help a lot with the smell. Fortunately, it's available here, 14$ for a 0,5l jar.

The description of OnaGel says that it actually neutralizes odors with ions, though it can only be a marketing thing, who knows.
I haven't heard about febreze, but looks like it's a regular air freshener, right?
Febreze is a similar thing in that it actively removes odours rather than just masking them. Like ONA.

Ona works great but you use it to deodorize an entire room. Never put it in your tent.

Sure, no way I would put that next to my plants. ;)
Do you how long would a small 250ml jar be effective? I'll only open it at times when I need it for like 2 days.

And as it turned out, it's also available here. I will give it a try with Ona, it's essential to remove/cover the smell in my current situation.

I've just checked the plants, and I can see the first, very tiny pistols of my AK. I will upload a few pics tomorrow. The pistols are right below the newest growth on the main stem. Is it where it normally starts?
I really hope that she will grow a lot in the next few days, because right now she basically has one, I mean ONE set of leaves that are quite larger, and all the other growth everywhere else is quite underdeveloped.
And of course, Jack Herer is tiny too as she always has been.

You know what, I'm not waiting until tomorrow, here are a few pictures. Sorry for the blurples

Right there those white hairs.

They are 29 and 22 days old.
What do you think?
I haven't really mentioned it lately, but RH was a steady 40-45% in the last two weeks. Isn't it too low for veg? Temperature moved between 18 and 24°C (or 64-75F).

I have to mention that febreeze doesn’t kill odors. It masks them like any other deodorizer. You would just have febreeze scented weed odor.

The ona packs are supposed be good, as PW mentioned don’t put them in the tent, and I would caution against leaving it in the same room. Apparently the Ona can harm the flavour of your efforts.

A carbon filter is really the best option to scrub the smell. An ionizer/air purifier would be my preferred supplement to the carbon filter. But gotta use what you can afford / fit in the space.

Stand back from the chemical deodorizer spray in the flower room.

Woah.

We could just smoke the deodorizer?

Doesn't sound right to me..

If it smells like weed, it probably is a skunk so call it a skunk and mozy along the way there. lol
