No, I don't know why. I'm assuming they some lose their ability to reflect light. But that's just stupid, if you ask me. I read on my new reflector, last july, when i was putting the light together. Maybe the 315 is different ??
Yeah, this fixture is a bit hot for a 4x4 tent, especially given the ceiling height. Very easy to burn plants when it's that close to the canopy.

As a fellow newbie to growing cannabis Been following your progress grebs looking great sir I honestly thought at the end of your veg the girls were gonna flower a whole heck of a lot smaller than they are, great job man. Got a question I believe u said u bought ur strain from crop kings right? How did u pay? Cc? I just did through my cc and I probably shoulda asked before I paid

How fast do the tricomes turn? I don't want to be put to sleep from couch lock but at the same time I feel its too early and they need to fill out more. Some of the pics will show I have a few decent size colas but most of the plant is popcorn farts.

This is exactly what I was saying ,in my last grow, using this light. and remember, I have two of your bulbs, horizonal in one reflector. (Which I'm assuming would hasten the process, even more.) in my very 1st. grow with this light, which I didn't journal, I harvested at like 6.5 weeks, because They turned amber all over. got about 8 ozs. from 6 plants. I didn't spend over $600 on a light, to lose production. This is the make it or break it grow for this light, and Hope their warrantee is worth the paper it's written on !! I know for a fact that this blue dream strain will produce 6-8 oz. per plant, In coco, with a 1000hps, because the person who gave me the clones does just that, on a regular basic. But I can't get 4 oz. with this light, so far. i would get 3 oz., when i was using the 400w hps !! I just wish some of these other guys that are using these lights, would come out, and tell us how things are going. Especially the one's growing in 4x4 & smaller tents. I know dam well I'm not the only one to buy this light, am I ?? I know Colorado Griz bought one, but i haven't seen him on here ? The truth is these were mass produced in China, and cost about $100 each, if you can buy 2 or three hundred of them. and they will put any name you want on it, sun, Nanalux, Phillips, and all the others buy them from the same mfg. Your trics. are not as far along as mine were at 39 days, And I'm hooping your's don't start changing like overnight, like mine did in my 1st. grow. At least now you know what I was trying to express to you a while ago !! And I didn't have that fancy lens to show you what the hell I was talking about !! i got to get one !! That's nice !!Ok Here we go.. They got a good watering tonight and while they was out I had a chance to look around at the trics. I took a bunch of pics but most did not turn out as well as I wanted so sorry for that.
This is day 39 from flipping to 12/12. Not day 39 from when I seen buds start. Day 39 total from flip. As you can see, or at least I hope you can see well enough I have a few amber trics. I would say I'm around 50/50 clear and cloudy with a few ambers starting to pop up.
Its alarming that they are turning so soon. Slowpuffer... You are on to something. Maybe these lights are doing something to them.
Problem is its ONLY 39 DAYs! These buds haven't had a chance to fill out. At this rate I will be lucky to get an ounce a plant. Of course I could be wrong but its not looking good.
So the question is when do I flush? They just got another dose of beasty bloomz tonight

And you should be mad, because now is when the growth takes place, and if we have to harvest early, then we miss that. And for a guy like you with taste for clear trics., It's even more of a nightmare. Are your nugs solid, dense ??
All we hear is lies from the people who mfg., and distribute and make a huge profit . They sell us what they know we're all after. Tell us it will replace an 1000hps, with much less heat than a 600w hps., and elec. usage of a 600w All a lie told to sell us fools another worthless piece of shit . I hope I'm wrong about this light, but premature amber trics. is something I can't live with. And the heat issue makes this light a winter light for me, unless I run air and that 's not happening.
