WheelO's - 360#2 - Auto Collection galore

So much to learn about this art/hobby.

WOF - I love those Eureka moments when the cause of a problem is suddenly understood.

Hope the month passes quickly for you

hey guys,

i'm having some stem problems on one of my lemon skunks just above the RW. it looks like its rotting and week. I had to steak it just to keep it upright. I think its happening where i steaked it earlier, but i took the original steak off.

ill post a pic in a bit.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

great grow hope that LS is fine!!! def rep on the grow. if this country ever realizes that pot is much more useful than liquor i will get 1 of these:grinjoint:

thanks blackbeast.

yeah this style grow has been alot of fun.
I am learning a ton. in the future i want to build a couple of these myself on a bigger scale.
Even though MJ is totally doable in this size wheel, I think that the huge yield you could pull from a bigger wheel would give a better weight/No. of plant ratio. maybe even do a scrog.

for people who have med cards and are concerned with plant count, i haven't seen anyone attempt this yet, but i can see no reason why you couldn't install a screen like maxx did, but make it much farther away from the light, bigger openings, veg for a few weeks, and scrog a few plants to fill the whole wheel. It would take a lot longer, but you would stay under the plant limit. then a couple of weeks after you flip 12/12, let them creep towards the light, and get huge. it should be easy to scrog in the wheel, they're already pretty confused about which way is up.

I finally went to home depot and bought some good 6" venting hose to replace the absolute crap they sold me at the hydro store. the hydro venting fell apart on me within weeks. I can already tell that this home depot stuff is much more rigid. if anyone out there is about to buy venting, do your self a favor. get it from home depot.

now my tent is totally sealed. (the tent still has louvers on the bottom, but not much air exchange from them) my cool tube has an intake that comes from outside the tent, and exhausts outside of the tent. my window ac unit is completely recirculating. My room temps dropped about 6-7 degrees and is now holding steady at 77 degrees, even while injecting co2 (15 minutes on, 105 minutes off @ 5 lph).

my res was getting hot, and was sitting around 77 degrees. I started switching out frozen 1 gal jugs every day, and got it down to about 70.

i am having some stem issues with some of the lempn skunks. i will post some pics when my batteries are done charging to see if i can get some expert advice.

Just how much space IS there between the base of the plants and the light? I liked around 14" between the plant base and the screen so that I had room to get my hands/arms under it and do the daily adjusting. And that was when I could reach the center of the screen from all the way around (more or less). If I'd had to work from one side only I would have needed more room.

Then there was the 12"-18" above the screen for the buds.

Or go to one of those industrial rubber places and tell them that you are going to be working on vehicles with your garage doors shut and that you need some kind of HD "rubber" hoses that you can use to carry the exhaust gases from the vehicles to the ports you've made in your walls.

Or actually break down and buy some of the flexible metal stuff that is used for that purpose.

You'll probably never have to replace it.

yeah, its called semi-rigid ducting, and home depot sells 8' sections for 12 bucks. I wanted to get some of that stuff. unfortunately the one i went to was all out of 6", so i got 25' of flexible stuff for 22 bucks. it is still really nice.

the wheel only has 19" base to light. not ideal, but workable.

maybe the cubes are getting to wet and when they turn vertical water is running down the stack. To much of that and it could cause your stacks to rot .I had it happen in a 5 gal bucket nft system my feed lines where running out right on the stack .I didnt catch it quick enough and lost lost my crop.Check ur cubes that are vertical after a feeding and see if thats the case ;)

thanks TB,

thanks maxx, I switched to two waterings a couple weeks ago. 1.5 hours each. i wish i could do 45 minutes, but my timer is in half hour increments. i could do an hour, but then some would get watered more than others. i need to get a 15min increment timer.

i'll step it down to an hour till then and see if it helps.
