What's In Jim's Grow Room?

Looking real good MJ. Did you or anyone else pop any of the Blue Dream beans?
Yes...a few people have run the S1 Blue Dream seeds and I ran them when I tried hempies. It appears that the S1 seeds seem to produce nanners so I don't distribute them any more. Blue Dream is a good balanced weed and I think it's popularity was its consistency. I still have some of the parent produce and smoke it occasionally but I've moved on.

The UD back cross will be pretty much standard regular seeds. Based on what I remember the seeds came to me as f2. So when I pollinated the result should be f3. I'm likely to run mine later this year because I really liked the produce from the female which was an OG Kush leaner. The female jumped out of the soil and I thought it was male until she flowered.

Although I only got the one male he was a great looking fellow also with plenty of vigor. I'd really like to get a male from the next run and cross it with one of these chems or one of these Pakistan Valley girls I've been carrying around for a while.

Clone update. I feel like I spent my whole day yesterday playing with plants. I'm a bit bored today so I took the clones out for a photo shoot and now I realize they'll need another trim tomorrow or Sunday. The look a bit haggard but I hope you'll enjoy anyway.

Have a great day folks...:bongrip:

I took the blooming girls out of the tent and thought I'd get some real super pictures and maybe I did but I seem to always feel like I did a poor job once I see them on the PC. Some LED light appears in a few as I forgot to turn the lamp off. Oh well....not the last time I'll screw something up. The girls won't get any more feed as I plan to just give them straight water from here on in. I'm thinking some of them might hit their harvest window in about 10 days so I'll start looking closely at trichomes around the first of next week. I'm already itching to harvest these things but obviously want to make sure I get them ripe. Enjoy:

That's it. Have a great day. Ugly, dreary, cloudy day here but that sun is supposed to come out later and I hear tomorrow will be better. :bongrip:

You've got the cloning down bro, they all look so healthy!! I tried cloning once and not 1 of 10 made it lol haven't tried since. Your flower girls are absolutely breath taking, but something about the SourAngel calls out to me. She's jus so damn sexy lmao!! You definitely have a green thumb my friend.
The weather here sucks super cold and windy in the negatives all week down to -31 this weekend with windchill. Oh and it's been raining so everything is solid ice. Hope your having a good night bro, keep up the hard work!!

clones are looking sweet as are your beautiful plants im still leaning to the sour angel its just something about her there all looking happy jim going to be a nice harvest!

It's quite amazing what one can do with a camera....but it does leave something for those looking to compare a plant. I'm also touched by the Sour Angel. I did have to give her some stakes as well as the Royal Gorilla. Just a precaution.

All sorts or aromas reached out to greet me this morning and all of them stink. I have no lemon sugary cleaner jet fuel spicy ultra menthol with eucalyptus pepper. Nope....I got pure ugly stink. Well, maybe some woodsy in there.

What I know is that this is only day 48 and that fragrance will change until it's flowers are as ripe as I want them.

I have a bit of DDA cob to spice up the menu Jim. :battingeyelashes: Can’t wait to meet the teams. :hugs:

My life is in perfect order.

I visited @beez0404 last Friday to get a first hand look at his girls. He's an excellent grower and I suggest you take a look at his yard. Those are some massive plants he's tending. While there @MrGreene dropped in to visit and stayed for a barbecue dinner hosted by Beez and Lisa. @SweetSue was already visiting with Beez and I got to drag her off for a few days so she could see how pretty it is here in Eastern NC. Although the weather didn't cooperate we just rolled with it and used all our time Saturday smoking a selection of hard compact flowers provided by Beez and just spent all day smoking herb and laughing at each other.

On Sunday we smoke the sampler that I had removed earlier from It's It Punch. I really don't know how these things happen - that I likely selected the one plant in my tent that produced a very powerful sativa-like effect from a hybrid with a few very small buds taken at day 45. I truly don't know how that happens but it surely opened Sue's eyes to something other than sativa. She's pretty much a sativa lady but has a championship cosmic team that looks out for her.

Anyway....IIP is definitely something different. I pulled 2 more branches off her and gave one to Sue for further testing. I am unable to give you a smoke report from 2 days ago but I will share that it's truly something different and I'm fairly sure it could replace Chemdawg as my wake n bake favorite. For me it's just in a different class and certainly worthy of being grown again. Of course, that comes from one who has never smoked a Gelato or a Purple Punch. Sue and I think it's quite possible the effect is from the early partial harvest and @brightlight has been telling me that all this time.

Anyway...more will be known about It's It Punch in the near future. I'm closing out flower day 52 and the girls are on a straight water diet. Chemdawg and Sour Angel both hit the fade last night and I only had a few minutes with them after delivering Sue back to Beez' home and returning here to the east. It's about a 3 1/2 hour trip from here to there without traffic and I'm a bit worn but back home. :bongrip:

I think that was the best barbecue I've ever had combined with great company. What more could you ask for? Oh, a tour of the plants. They look even better in person. I'm glad that we got to meet and visit for a while. The whole time was comfortable like visiting with old friends. I'll be paying attention to see what you learn about IIP.

looking great, that second chem must have been topped really early

I had the best time. :slide: It was such fun to do nothing more than get high and have a good time.

Plus, we got to see playoff history made. :battingeyelashes:

Let’s do that again sometime Jim. Lol! I’m still smiling over that delicious Sunday ride with It’s It Punch. My host has been chopping early buds to test the early harvest theory, and I’ll report back on that later in the week.

Sleep well Jim. It was a long day for you. :hugs:

Welcome aboard this road I’m traveling.

I have no patience at times and the cuts were taken after they had flowered. I try to jam the bottom node into the rooting medium because I think roots might start better there. Sometimes the plant decides to just separate there and the weaker branch almost catches up.

I'm getting very excited about the girls in my tent. My expectations were primarily to find a similar or better Chem to replace my go to Chemdawg that I've been smoking for about 2 years now. She's in there. I didn't upload all the pictures I took today. I smoked a bowl of Hawaiian Myan Gold grown by @beez0404 . I never was able to focus well and just went out back for a cigarette and found myself wobbling a bit. Excellent herb. Beez gave me several packs of buds. I may just declare victory and go home.

Here's the pics in no particular order. Some used different lighting and looked pretty good. :bongrip:

They’re all looking great still the Chem 91 x Aliendog Cherry is the cream of the crop.

Have you smoked it Penny? It is a lovely thing, distinctive in a field of beauty and scent in Jim’s tent, but OMG did that It’s It Punch get beautiful in the last couple nights! It’s wonderful to watch the leaves go through the color change.

Jim, If you ever go with white quantum boards you’re gonna be amazed at the way they progress. Brix’s Purple Punches have to be the most dramatic transition through necrosis I’ve witnessed.

She is more lovely to the eye, loaded with all that hopeful expectation, isn’t she? :laughtwo:
