What's In Jim's Grow Room?

MJ you need to turn on the heat, you've frost all over your garden...... :adore:

 So true though. Lol! Made my heart skip a beat Jim. Won't be too long and I'll get to see them up close and personal. :yahoo:

The Sour Angel stopped me cold this time. :green_heart:

Pakistan Valley is a nice smoke!

I figure if you're hanging onto them Jim, it must because they please you in some way. Sure are pretty to watch grow in your garden.

Looking great Jim, I have to agree with Sue your Sour Angel is jaw dropping!! The Chemdawg seems to be frosting up nicely as well, by the time harvest gets there your tent will be looking like a winter wonderland lol. Hope your having a good day brother!

Saturday morning update

It's been a while since I cleaned larf from under the girls so I did that this morning and got some nice photos outside the tent. Frosting the place up is led by Chemdawg, Sour Angel and It's It Punch. Punch has some crazy development going on underneath remaining from the partial flowering then re-vegging. The things are single calyxes clinging closely to the stems. They may be ovules. I'm not really clear on this but I took some off for drying and testing.

Spotlight on Chemdawg which is bred by Humboldt Seed Organization. This "is an Indica-dominant feminized cannabis strain that allows you to discover the outstanding genetics originally created by the renowned American breeder Chemdog." They claim this one is from the original Chem 91 elite clone. I've grown this one before and it has been my go-to jar daily since that late 2016 harvest. I'm working on my last jar so I'm counting on this one to be as good or better than the first. Maybe I'll stop kicking my own ass for not keeping that clone.

Protection from pests I can't prove the counter-factual but I've had this plant nearby for some time now. I've heard that mites just don't even visit near this plant.

The sun popped out today after a week of rain. Wind is blowing fairly crisp too. I'm going to try to enjoy some of this day out there for a while. :bongrip:

Yep....I have 3 cuts of Chemdawg and I think another developing roots in the kitchen window. I was looking back at the earlier grow and I may order some larger pots. Here's the Chemdawg back in Dec. 2016 at flower day 35. The current grow looks consistent with this plant.

Lovely as always Jim. :battingeyelashes: Thanks for the info about chives. I’d not heard of that benefit. I may get my own set going after returning. Mites aren’t one of my big concerns here, but I do a lot of wandering close to the woods, and it won’t hurt to be cautious.

Do you think the Chem Dawg resembles conradinos Ultra Dog at all? They look similar....
I didn't see the resemblance in the UD I grew but I do think it looks like some of your UDs. Mine was an OG leaner but I sure loved the smoke. I'd like to grow out the UD back cross I made and mate it with a known Chem. I bet that would really make it spark.

Of all the the things I've read about mites a Chives plant was the ONLY plant suggested as a preventative. Like I said, the only way to prove it doesn't work is to get the mites. I'm not trying to prove anything. There are some known killers of arachnids but I just don't want to go through the trouble.

Well, they tend to cycle back around for me when I start getting lazy about my IPM. I just had to cut a plant a week early because I found some again. I need to pick some up and try it out.
