What I've learned about indoor grows - most important don't bring stuff from the out-of-doors into a grow without sterilizing it best you can - have indoor stuff for your tent only, don't mix indoor and outdoor - tools, soil, watering apparatus, mulch, etc. That's the way you get BUGS if you mix the two without sterilizing. Add water to mulch or soil - put it in a steel bucket over a fire and cook (broil) the bugs out. You can always put trays of soil in oven at 250 deg F for an hour. You can freeze some out too - however - it is not guaranteed. Get rid of that pine straw! It is a haven for spider mites.

And yes bill is awesome
Good evening @Dank777 hope you had a good day.
Have you had a chance yet to check out the grows of some of your new followers.
There is some really great information and techniques there that would interest you.
Also in my sig is all my last grows .
Gorilla Glue clone thread is my perpetual cloning and veg room thread.

I understand the concern the concern of outside bugs coming in but in all the gardens that I had I never had any bugs the Rollie pollie soil that I got from outside actually is doing pretty good for my plants I really can't believe it the littlest baby is the newest strain to my garden and the biggest one is the one that I topped and transplant into the roly poly soil I just feel really blessed if I had the money I would have bought soil but God provided now I am grateful no sterilizing it just trusting in him the little ones 12 days the top one a lot of days I don't feel like counting them now

Patience is a virtue - I found best wait and ask your 420 girls and they will answer in time.
That's what @Bill284 said but I'm so impatient I did pulling it up but from that one I gained two that are now doing well I won't complain and I wound up smoking the plant that I pulled up it gave me a little buzz but not really I just didn't want it to go to waste

Buy a small bag of peat and top dress an inch of peat or and inch-or-two peat/pertlite. That way you can toss the pine straw. A "wetting agent" helps keep the peat from "crusting" - or you can just stir it up the top dress once in a while to resist crusting. Sometimes it is good to leave a little pot room at the top. If you are using organic fertilizer you can top dress by adding peat/fertilizer or peat/perlite/fertilizer mixes to little-by-little fill up the container.

Thanks @Bill284

Looks like you got quite the handful of ladies, and doing your own fertilizer!! Great job!:thumb:

I think they're doing pretty good, Bill as always has steered you very well (great guy isn't he?).

My biggest suggestion would be to avoid anymore defoliation unless absolutely necessary. I like to think of them as solar panels, when you remove one- your taking away from the whole end product.

Feel free to tag me anytime! Especially if you see I haven't been around, I loose myself easily

We're a very friendly bunch on here, don't be shy to subscribe and follow some journals, you'll pick up tons of great info, and in the process of asking- you'll make many new friends! We're all proud of our grows and love to talk about them!
@Rexer every since you gave me the information about defoliation I haven't pulled one leaf and I think my babies are really appreciate that thank you for that information and you broke it down in the simplest form solar panels LOL little solar panels

The only time I really defoliate is when I need to because Powdery mildew is a concern, which rarely happens (as normally I use a large dehumidifier). The odd leaf here and there is OK, just keep it minimal.

Then the week of, or week before, harvest- go ahead and defolate all fan leaves all to help finish the bud swelling. Always leave the sugar leaves on- keep that trim for making edibles!

@Bill284 yes all is well okay so remember when I told you that I wanted more than two strain in my garden then I got 3 So then as I was talking to my God I was asking him for another one and I was walking while I was talking to him and when I walked past the building they had a pot with a flower growing in front of it and as I walked past it I noticed green foliage underneath it it was a weed plant a little one I took it home and now I'm doctoring it up
