Welcome To Archie’s Indoor/Outdoor Perpetual Garden

Just don't get in a hurry.
No problem! I’m surprised she still looks this good in a one gallon container!
Looking at her roots, she never even got root bound in this pot so that probably explains it.

Congrats on the harvest! I was going to ask how many days it ran but with the time shift it might not be relevant. I think mine run around 65 days.
I say her outside mid-April so roughly eight weeks. Now what’s interesting is she was actually showing some signs of reveg which is what prompted me to harvest. She could have used maybe a couple more days.

I hate to kick myself in the nads but, I’ll probably take another cut of her from you at our next meetup cause I think I could have done better.

I'll always have AK-47 on tap. Candida as well!
Cheers Shed :high-five:

Here’s a closer look at Green Doctor

Congratulations on your harvest of AK47 Shed's Gift! :thumb: Looks like it might have been a chore to trim.

Your little outdoor girls look great so far!

Thanks Beez!
It was not my favorite plant to chop, that might’ve been why I was so lazy and just saved 75% of the harvest for fresh frozen bubble.

I sprayed the outdoor girls with Leaf Wash this morning as I’m seeing little bites here and there.
Leaf Wash has neem oil in it and a few other goodies.

This is the first foliar I’ve given at full strength. Thanks again to @neikodog for the foliar reminder regarding hitting em’ when they are too young.

I've learned a little bit, but most importantly it's just a plant doing what plants do. It's our outlook that changes how we treat them. Loving the outdoors tho, and giving those girls loads of h2o!

Sent you a PM, lets make some hash!

I think we get attached because we raise them and watch there life cycle from birth to Death
its close to our own but only takes 1 season.

Born = Sprout
Baby = Seedling
Young Adult = Veg
Adult = Flower
Old Age = Harvest Window

I hear ya Gazoo! I hope I’m not in the Harvest Window, but I want that wisdom you get when your there lol!
Looks good! :thumb:

Purple Durban sounds killer!
I love me some Durple Purban. :yahoo:

Some strains droop hard before lights off, some plants like @Amy Gardner ’s Candida drooped in the presence of too intense sunlight.

I have a feeling this has something to do with DLI or whatever that @FelipeBlu was talking about in here.

Indeed! Although, if I wasn’t positive that everything is more intense in Oz, I am now. The sun is too intense for plants. :rolleyes: I think it might be more related to a high vpd, but let’s move on..

I’m currently on an 11/13 schedule. Mostly as a test to see if this 10week Doc Green will finish noticeably faster than advertised. Saving on the electric bill helps too :Namaste:

If your plants can tolerate an average PPFD of 1700 (of the above 2 readings), you could get a bountiful DLI of 50 moles in just a little over 8 hours. Trying to get the same output as the sun probably wouldn’t save much electricity though.

Garden in tip top shape Arch :thumb: GD showing beautiful frost and shapes.

Did i read you right that you have something finishing out in a 1gal container? is that a one gal of DBHBB soil? It is one of the early flowerers no doubt.
Thanks Miss AG! :circle-of-love:
Yes you read correctly. My Green Doctor is in a one gallon container still. The same container it vegged in :confused:.

Around mid-April I put her in the tent at 14/10. She started to flower, I wasn’t sure if upcanning in the middle of stretch was a good idea after it had already started, so I left her.
I haven’t even spread Recharge and EWC’s during the flowering cycle.
Best part is, so far she hasn’t complained. Just the opposite I’d say. As far as size goes, the Durban’s I just flipped are bigger plants because I fully vegged them to the point they were drinking daily.

My thought process was trying to get Green Doc on the same schedule as the sun so that I could transfer her outdoors to my raised bed. She was to be the star in my summer garden!

I could write an article of how not to let the photoperiod make you a victim of PFS, or Premature Flowering Syndrome :rofl:

So what happens when DLI is not reached?
Do VPD and DLI have a intertwined relationship?

Just for giggles, if her Candida’s VPD was high transpiration shuts down and I suppose that could explain things. Coupled with maybe a higher DLI than it needed?

Cheers guys!

I’m not really sure what the lower limit of DLI is for cannabis during flowering, before yield and other desired factors are affected. But I have grown very nice buds with a little less than 30.

Don’t see how they could be related, except that in some climates, a higher intensity of sunlight just naturally means you’re gonna be hot and very dry.

Your gardens are looking very lovely.:yummy:
