Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Raise the light and dial it back to 50% on the ballast. They will stretch then, for sure. With our clones you can tell which ones have been on the outside perimeter of our light coverage since they are a little more lanky and a few inches taller.
Thanks Nis

Dynasty genetics, the breeder of the Birds of Paradise, only sell regulars. So in order to grow them you have to weed out the males. It is what it is. Also, Regulars tend to have a little more "pep in their step". So to avoid the sexing of this strain in the future, an extra clone will be taken so we can make fems out of it.

Good morning Peggy, Canna, and Nis. My recommendations for high yielding strains with some 'punch'. Try Mk Ultra or Green Crack. Very potent, easy to grow and high yielding with A LOT of flavor . Cheers eh!:)

True dat, also more red light means more stretch, because it packs less punch in terms of radiated energy. Do not overdo it, they can get really stretchy and then you need the friendly string to help them. :thumb:

Hey guys so something ate my last two auto sprouts that I had germinated outside and was leaving them outside until I had room in my grow space big time bummer I've still got two photos that germinated last week that are going to be my out door girls this year

but I was at the pawn shop yesterday and saw these two presses and was wondering if they would work for a rosin press

and if the prices you see are fair or not. Your harvest seems to have went well I was wondering what the final dry weight was if each plant. Glad things are going well for you both keep em green #global420

You chose some good strains there. The bud bud bling tings I have been wanting to try but have some others I want to get in first. The cheese is an extremely powerful plant and the smoke is good as well.

As for the t-shirt type presses; they will work but they are not optimum as you will not be able to get the amount of force required to get a decent yield. We have a pneumatic 20 ton press and if we can't get it with 40,000 lbs of pressure, then I don't know what else we could do. For those prices, I would stay away as you could get a brand new one for $200. If you want to spend $500 then you could buy an actual rosin press. Not top of the line mind you but you will get way better yields than the t-shirt press. We are $300 into ours but I made the plates and wired up the controllers and heating elements myself. If you have the means to make one, it saves a few pennies. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks to you for this Tomula. I was thinking along to same lines. HPS is the way to go for all my intents and purpose. I'm thinking I can keep a fan on em for the next twenty days or so to keep em a little Woody. I'm also foliar Cal Mag half recommended strength. I raised the light up to about 24 inches from the top of the tallest, and about ten inches lower to the lowest one, and knocked it back to 50% like Nismo recommended and I have noticed some stretch already. Lights on 4am here. I took a Pineapple Chunk -1 of 2- little mothers the exact same size, twenty-one and a half inches, and put it in a lil green house today to sit in direct sun all day to compare em tomorrow and for a couple few days to see what's what.
Any how almost every clone I get, and I'm hoping for around fifty, when is all said n done, off of five mothers, are going to be for the outdoor grow. Need big ones for the first moves we make here.
Thank you good luck and great days.
