Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

Re: Welcome All My Friends To The Show That Never Ends - Canna M & Nismo12 Team Up!

no argument going on. Just friends with healthy differences of doing similar things differently ..:Namaste: :circle-of-love:
I mean in general bro. Lol. You know... When there's 2 opposing views. Arguments are fine, we all have em, it's part of life. How we deal with our arguments is key. I've a ton of arguments with the Justice system,my wife, and fellow friends. Peaceful arguments and some aggressive. Yet, I'm not in jail, my wife is my Best friend, and I have my close friends to this day! I was just egging on the Debate, and hoping for more input! Truly, I love All of youse guys! Peaceful blazing...

Yeah its a grow style thing everyone has his or her own style, i like light green chlorophyl free looking buds, thats why we flush, to clean bud up, so i believe it is safer light off in a dark cool room preventing mold... And as for growing plants most growth occurs in the dark period, so i also like to give em a 24, to 48 h darkness before chopchop. Just rumbling, sign of good medicine haha, i appreciate and respect everyones opinion and like to share mine if thats fine. No 2 people are identical we love our differences and (uniqueness). Good growing everyone:Namaste:

Quoting the interweb:

"While rapid cell elongation causes plants to appear longer, it is not actually growth. The process is more comparable to stretching. Plant cells mostly expand upward when exposed to total darkness, because that is generally where they can access light; this process is known as geotropisim. Green plants require photosynthesis in order to experience actual growth; plants left in total darkness for an extended period of time eventually die."

I've not studied it but I live in an agricultural area.

Hi Canna , Nis...you guys busy in the garden? Havin so much fun,....Canna, you feelin a bit better?:Namaste:
Yeah I was just down there watering and doing my rounds. I'll get some good pictures tomorrow when they are happy again. Did some neem spraying yesterday and tonight the big flux got some destress. No bug sightings in 4 days so that is positive. The SNS 217 will be here tomorrow so we will be hitting them with that and we shouldn't have any more problems. In a couple weeks when 5 get harvested it'll be a total cleaning in both rooms.

I'll be starting the journal tonight for the fast buds autos so I'll post a link here in a couple hours. :thumb:

:passitleft:

Hey Nis I got a question for you. Once the buds are dry and put in the bottles to cure should they still be stored in the dark or does it matter once the buds are bottled?
We store our jars in a cool dark place in the closet. Not sure if it matters at that point but we do just for the simplicity of them not being out in the open and they are out of the way. Then we have nug jars that we fill up daily to take with us. It's like a buffet to choose from everyday.

Nis,
I think you are right about the way you store. Especially right about the buffet portion of your statement, I'll bet:rofl: considering the variety you guys grow.:passitleft:
They say light degrades thc. Even after cure.
I think you could get away with tinted glass if you stored out in the open. i have little glass jars or immediate access that sit out for two maybe three days. Quantity has always been stored in cool dry n dark. I don't know how true it is or fast this takes place- degradation of the thc, but I never vary from this habit.

I checked out the new journal. Oooh wee that's gonna be shaweeeet. I have my eye on the GG soon. Hopefully.

I have had good luck chopping the entire plant at medium (ground)level and then I put the plant in a bucket of water (high ph around 7) in the closet complete darkness until I see drooping in the leaves usually 3-4 days then I trim and hang dry. The theory is that the acidic qualities of the water coupled with the darkness allows the plant to not only "flush" itself even more but the acidic water speeds photosynthesis up and allows for the trics to swell and mature rapidly also the plants flowers themselves swell and imho smoothes the smoke and enhances flavor and smell. Now this is all my "theory" but I've tried to do my due diligence on the subject and that's how I came up with this regiment. It takes a little longer to actually dry but for me it's way worth it. Just my "ho" Now what I still have issues with is curing I haven't been able to get this part correct or correct enough I should say

Everyone is looking fantastic this evening so I took a few pictures. We gave the KK and the SSH some trans water and the Blue Dream and the Strawberry Cake got some GE and Tea.

We've gotten a good system going in the garden and it makes daily trips quick and easy. Going to the kit has simplified things and has sped it up drastically. When less than half of them are getting nutrients we no longer have to mix up 20 gallons at a time to feed. Soon it will be only autos getting fed. Then when we are comfortable with the kit, we will be running autos with it as well. It'll be good being organic.

Have a high night everyone. I'm stoned. Next? :passitleft:

High there Nis, Canna n all. :passitleft: I love the way the revegges leaves warp and twist. i am a fan of the reveg ever since I seen you guys do it on back in May when I first got here and have done a few since.

That Crown Royal flux is a beast in and of itself, Right ? What's goin on with those White Cookies ? They are in flower ? I thought I seen pistils and it was in the portion of your post that showed flowers. Why the half gallon ?

Looking very healthy and green. :passitleft:

Yeah the white cookies is in flower. She needs tending to every other day or so being in the half gallon. I wanted to do that as a little side project just to see how it would be tending to her needs often. After her harvest we will be putting a Girl Scout Cookies in that pot. The perpetual cookie jar. :thumb:

Water with a pH of 7 is neutral. Photosynthesis does not - and cannot - occur in darkness (calling the Calvin cycle "light-independent reactions" is misleading).

Having never been inside before I am running some of these "micro trials" concerning container size as well. So far using these small containers has been more than a little bit involved to say the least. Makes it a ton easier to correct problems is the only real advantage other that the obvious space issues.

I have two GSC here that I wish I woulda takin a couple cuttings of them earlier. I coulda had my own perp cookie jar.
One is in a 10 gal the other in a 3. They both love it. But the 10 is a no brainer. The bigger the better I guess. But oh what fun it is to play with these lil pots all day.
