So the water levels don't really seem to be dropping yet but I guess that's expected until they are "settled"?

Soil has dried out when I stick my finger down so hopefully it starts to moisten up.

I kinda messed up by adding water without nutes to the res, because I thought it would be absorbed before I filled it again/transplanted (So added water like 64 hours ago or something). Could I make a nute mix for the res size, so mix smaller amounts of water/nutes together then add that to the already almost full res?

Just not sure if the nutes need to be mixed with the original volume of water or I can kind of add a less diluted mix now? Just worried about them not having everything they need for this crucial stage :D

Did I read you can give them a top water to start the wick process or have I missed a stage of your working?

DBB
From what ReservoirDog wrote I believe the proper way is to pre-moisten soil and then allow wicking of the water for 24-48 hours before transplant but because I wet my soil too much in the "pre-moisten" stage there was no wicking!

From what I understand I think there is just one top feed to seal the transplant/soil in which I did with about 1L of water per plant but I could probably get away with another to add nutes if adding them to the res afterwards is a bad idea.

They look so neatly potted, like the kind of thing you see at the side of the 18th green at an expensive golf course! My coco planted ones the soil looks much less tiday as they have water dumped all over once a day at the moment!

My entire house is basically upside down trying to sort out room for my bigger tent but your damn right my plants are tidy and my tent is looking somewhat organised... priorities right?

So think they are potentially looking a bit worse for wear today.. Hard to see from the pictures but they look a bit less green and the tips are starting to discolour a little on the bigger leaves.

Definitely concerned about the lack of nutes in the water and I'm gonna mix something up today and add it to the res, don't think it can hurt. I managed to get the water levels working they just dissapear when it's empty and then need resetting which is fine... no real change to res level since transplant still doesn't seem to have dropped.

Pics (Day 22, just under 72 hours since transplant):
(Terrible focus on half the pics I'll do better xD)

I've mixed together nutes for all three buckets in 1.5L of water and I've dropped .5l into each bucket so hopefully that mixes in fine with the res and provides the plants with what they might be missing.

Have also made a spray bottle up with a few drops of Bio Protect which I've applied to the leaves.

Fingers crossed everything is gucci :morenutes:

Looking better today I think, maybe they have finally started to accept their new home? :D

Levels don't seem to have dropped but soil is moist if I stick my finger in which is a good sign.

I wanna start training ASAP but I'm still waiting for good clear signs of good growth before stressing the plants any further.

When figuring out what Day/Week you are on for the feeding schedule do you count from the 2nd week basically or?
For instance I'm on 23 since the seed germinated/sprouted, does that put me on week 2 of veg or how do I figure this out? Purely so I can keep to the correct feeding schedule.

Thanks Azi it's more just the semantics of when does week 1 of veg start, one week after germ? So that would put me on Week 3 right now, however if week 1 means the first week as a seedling that would mean I'm on week 4 already :D

I guess it doesn't matter too much as the nutes mainly change when it switches to flower and I think that will be visually obvious?

Cheers for clarifiying, much appreciated!

I think they are actually starting to put on size again will check back tomorrow and update with pics, exciting stuff :D

And don't be concerned about the water level. Once the roots find the moisture (not just the reservoir level) they will drink what they want and that happens within the first couple of days.
Then they will spend 2-3 weeks adapting their roots over and you won't see much above the ground progress.

But starting at the end of week 2 (generally for me) they start to show a little bit bit of growth. By the end of week 3 growth and girth of stems will start to accelerate and then it's on!

Awesome thanks Azi, I'll keep calm and keep doing what I'm doing. They aren't droopy anymore and I do I think I can see some small signs of growth even if nothing major just yet, positive signs!!
