Weenmeoff's Inside Soil Alien Abduction Grow Journal

I came home from work today and Hillary was bent over, bend just above the soil. She looked otherwise healthy. The only thing I could think of to do was bury her so about 1/2 inch of her stem is above the soil, wish her luck. If she makes it, could this kind of trauma make her a hermie or male? Bernice is a no go so will have to repop a Carnival. Donna-LD seems to be doing fine, the comb over is still hanging on....wish I had better news...

Clones, one is about 3-4 inches from the light, they stretched quite a bit.

Thanks Dirt!

Hillary is done, shriveled up. Donna, no more LD, seems ok, could be better, I hope she makes it. I'll germinate a couple few more on Monday. Down to one if Donna makes it.

Watered today, 1.5 gallons to the clones and 2.5 to the plants.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

I left Donna on the windowsill for the weekend, still looking OK. A little stretchy. The base of her stem is a little thinner than the rest of her stem which is what happened to Hillary. I did give them Poland spring water and did not check the PH, could this have been my mistake?

Can I put Donna in with the big plants or should I keep her under a CFL and if so how long until I can put her in the tent!

Not sure what you are talking about as in what is wrong with them. In the pictures they look fine to me. A little more info would help.

Donna seems OK but her stem just above the soil is thinner that the rest of the stem. This was the same for Hillary but worse, so much so that she was bent over then died but she was in the box in the closet and I was away so may have also over heated.

I guess time will tell with my remaining seedling Donna but I am wondering if I can put her in with the big plants under 1 600w MH and one LED.....?

Well she can go in there but I wouldn't put her front and center directly under the light. She can go in the corner or on the border of the light coverage. Our seedling area is powered by 165 watt LED. They don't need much light to keep them going. If you are worried about her bending over you can give here a little more soil around the base or take something as simple as a bread tie and make an arch out of it and put it right next to her. So if she decides to lean, she will lean into that. It happens bud. Hope this helps.

Thanks Nis! I think I will keep her on the windowsill for a couple days so I can keep an eye on her then move her to the corner of the tent, LED side.

SCROG is filling in nicely. Was away for the weekend and one of the clones grew up to the light, luckily I put her off to the side so damage was minimal, a couple leaves were a little wilted/burnt. My space is limited so my only solution is to tilt the light to one side and move the clones to that side. I hope this will suffice until I flip the George's.

We have a 420 scope to look at the trics. I think it is 60x to 100x. 60x is plenty but it is nice and has a light on it. Hope that helps.

Your girls look fantastic BTW. Now would be the time if you plan on back building those buds. Light addict has a tutorial on it. Very very simple to do. Halfway through flower, you just cut about 3 hairs and a tiny tiny bit of plant matter off the top. It then sends a message to the plant that it hit an obstruction and it then sends all bud development into making fat dense buds. :thumb:

Awesome, thanks Nis! I'll look for a420 scope, check out LAs tutorial and back build them.
