Weenmeoff's Inside Soil Alien Abduction Grow Journal

I germinated 3 seeds and am considering taking another clone of Alien Abduction.

Carnival - The word carnival reminds you of a happy atmosphere all around, of Venice and the thousands of people dressed like centuries ago, or of Rio, Brazil, where millions of people go crazy just for a few days a year. This strain has been designed to bring the carnival into your mind. The entire process of selection and crossing has been made in Spain. This is a cross between a Haze mother and a particular individual mostly sativa as father. Carnival has an extremely high content of thc: the laboratory test on our sample has shown an amazing 23,2%. This is not the only good note, the flowering time is really short for a plant that is 80% sativa.

The Money Maker is a very old-school plant. A true Master Kush, High Times Cannabis Cup winner in the early 90s, presented in feminized form. Short, bushy, with very small internodes, it grows very fast and has an extremely vigorous attitude.

The leaf shows some sativa heritage, but the buds are definitely full indica, with a berry-sweet aroma that turns rapidly into a very kushy, earthy feel.

The Money Maker makes very compact, heavy flower clusters, and it has very low leaf-to-calyx ratio so manicuring is very easy.

The Money Maker can take high nutrients levels, and grows very well in soil, coco, hydroponic or aeroponic systems.

It performs well indoors and outdoors, and is ideal for beginners as well as for advanced growers.

The smoke is very intense, with a berry flavor that gives space to very deep earthy, mossy notes, to end in a slight garlic feel. The effect is round, thick, narcotic.

It is couchlock-bonanza, ideal for very relaxing nights, or very lazy days. Medicinally very valuable for those with trouble sleeping, or intense pains.

White Widow X Big Bud - First a strain from our X-line in 2010, this very popular cannabis strain then moved to our permanent catalogue due to its popularity.
It is a dihybrid, which means that from the same F1 cross, two populations were selected and stabilized separately for 6-7 generations. This process was made on two criteria: one population for its high yield and big buds, the other one for its white widow effect. The two resulting plants originally from the same genetics were then crossed again.
You can expect enormous dripping from the very resinous buds, reason why it is not recommended for outdoors.

Good strain choices.

Many folks here are very happy wih Carnival.
Big Bud really does get some great yields with big fat buds, so you should be happy there too :)

Thanks Rad! I made a "portable" SCROG today but can't imagine 3 in the tent and how they would fit and then watering, which I just did and it was a challenge with 1 SCROG. Not sure if I want to keep it or not....? I have plenty of flexible plastic tubing which I could make a watering system out of.

I went ahead and clipped the wire off from outside the tomato cage. There was really only one row of squares which I can set tops all around the outside of the cage anyways. So I guess I'll give it a go. Will make 2 more and see how it goes.....

Scrog is looking great man, I also must try using it for my next grow and see if I can get some decent results with it. You remind me of a show we had here in South Africa from a guy called Riaan, and it was always "DIY met Riaan", which just means DIY with Riaan :laughtwo: I am sure this would work great for your plants. Keep up the goodness:high-five:

I'm no help with scrogs, but I look forward to seeing how yours goes. Girls are looking nice and healthy

What you have going on there is what I like to call a DIY scrog that will work perfectly.

Thanks Mangs!

In my tiny bit f experience, It does not take a lot of topping/FIMing for a scrog - 2 or 4 good branches should be enough.

In my first grow, I tried one plant in a scrog. She was topped once and spread apart to try to try to train in an X shape.

With just those 4 branches, she was put under a scrog in late veg.

The scrog was a shelf on a rack so I removed her for flowering.

By harvest time, the side branches off the main branches formed several nice tops. Yield was similar to un-scrogged plants.

Cool, then I think I may stop at the FIM and top per plant that did last night in addition to what I did previously. That should fill the screens. I like the boxing glove pic!

So Donna-LD is out of the gate but has a funny looking comb-over, the seed casing is still on her. I am assuming I should leave it be at least for a day or two before I try and remove it....?

Really hoping to feel the Carnival Bern soon, still nothing...

Edit update: Hillary is about 5% ahead of Donna-LD and Bernice is trying to poke through but is pretty much out of this race, she is still my favorite, feel the bern baby.
