I got ya now. You know me, I'll duck tape the bull shit out of the entire plant before I let one fall, plus I wash every harvest so trimming is a breeze when trimming wet buds. It's like a scissor lubricant and I can trim half my chop w/o needing to wipe once, let alone knife it off. Same goes for the gloves, just one pair for the whole trim session.
Good to know you're well armed to handle that bear of a harvest. You'll be needin good tools!

For many years now, Weas 'hibernates' thru winter, if you will.
It may be data issues, but probably roaming the hinterlands trying to get thru some challenging environmental variables.
If it helps, there's usually some awesome stories in the spring!

Hopefully he had enough erb stocked up to get thru winter. If not he's probably getting cabin fever

I always appreciate a good surprise... I try to ignore his absence until he shows back up with crazy tales and photos. The bear was awesome! It's like, so good that I'd suspect he were telling tales, but those photos of the cleanup were amazing.
I'll not cast any doubts of authenticity his way in the future.
It always sounds like a touch of a charmed life. Sure, the charm can sure wear off quick, but the memories that stay behind over the years... well those might be truly special... or truly horrifying... choose your flavor.

Tourists do the craziest shit. We lack the octopi, but many a tourist wander down dark alleys late at nite in search of one earthly pleasure or another.

Yeah my phone service enhancing contraptions have been breaking down like crazy this winter, and at some point I just said... screw it.
There’s a spot I can walk to where I get some sort of phone service. But the weather’s been cold as hell and so I don’t tend to hang around long. And I keep thinking - I’ll get this antenna fixed then I’ll catch up. And... many other other fine reasons and excuses.
But high on the excuse list has been a fairly slow period with the plants. No point getting frostbite just to post a yawn.
A few more interesting things are starting to move though, as spring approaches.
When I do get the antenna fixed, and if it does turn out to be the problem link in the chain as opposed to some other, I’ll be back around more. Posting from a remote snowbank smacks of some sort of personality defect.
