Weasel Forges Ahead

Hey Weasel, question about Pineapple Chunk. Is it a late finisher, or do the bud site fatten up in the last week or two? My PC is large, wide with trillions of super frosty buds sites, but damn if they're not taking their jolly ass time to put on some weight. This is 35 days in, and if comparing it to Barney's triple cheese, it looks weeks behind that at this stage. The TC at 5 weeks would have fully stacked and fat ass colas, yet the PC crawls and aside from a very minor P deficiency, everything is spot on nutes wise. I think I'm beginning to see what you meant about PC being a more than 9 week strain.

Mine were long runners. Took forever compared to a 30d quick indica.
They'll fatten up. I'd put you at about 1/2 or 2/3 of the way finished. They'll fatten up so much that everything will fall over an get messy. You'll know they're done when the tops bend all the way down to the ground.

Thanks for the tips bro. I'll resist that bending as much as I can, but already the side branches are almost twice as fat as the Cheese sides, so the PC give me better vibes in every other way except but density. You remember how long you did your PCs for? Weezy quoted me I think 10-11 weeks which gives me the heebs, but if that's what it is, then that's what it is.

Like many sativa leaning plants, it's a much longer bloomer... tho some sativas have achieved better speeds, but as a whole, they're just much slower. Stretchier too.
I'd expect to see you end somewhere after 60d, and probably closer to 75d.
I can tell from your photos too. You're in trouble.... em r gunna be fat ass baby! They will quite literally become so heavy that you'l have a mess on your hands. You'll see... trouble.
Oh... and gawd forbid you sample some well cured results of it. More trouble... you'll be stoned all day.
In my world, I didn't give them enough light and they were still a mess. Good luck!
 
I actually quit smoking because I quit smoking cigs finally and the herbs now taste like pure tar in my mouth, so I let that go too. I'll have to figure out a way to smoke bud w/o smoking it. Maybe the vape convo from your thread will get bumped up in my world because smoking trees is not like riding a bike and I already claim title to thee lowest tolerance on all of 420. My next puff will be like smoking opium. So not looking forward to that, but know it's in my future.
 
Try a good Vape that does flowers. Problems solved. I don't smoke much at all anymore. I don't miss it and prefer vaping.

You gotta have patience with Sativa leaners. I've had the all airy even late in flower and then all of a sudden boom they start drinking up a storm and getting fat n happy.

I always stake up my Sativa early on and then wire tie around the stakes and when the tops start leaning over, get the yoyo's out. lol

Your plants look good. Careful what you wish for. lol

I used to get the loppers out about 3 weeks before chop and every day talk myself down away from the plants. Its a process and well worth the wait. You will be happy, eventually!
 
I'm an impatient guy, and am searching for the short finishers. I have 2 PCs and can see 2 phenos (sort of) as the one pictured is short, and thick branches. The other in early bloom is already taller, has a lot more shoots and every branch looks like spaghetti which will likely turn out to be a severe pain in the ass. Research suggests PC is Indica leaning, but everyone here says Sativa leaning. If push comes to shove, I'll do these and pop some Incredible Bulk beans I have in stock. Probably not as good of a smoke, but like I said, I'm inpatient, lol. I have 3 bloom rooms and would like to stick with the 3 week gap between harvests. A 10-11 week strain would put me back to a month which complicates my life again.

Sticky had a PC finish at 50 days. I don't know what breeder it came from. But it looks great! He's chopping it today

Now that's a figure I can get behind, even if only to trick my mind for a while ,lol. I'm fairly confident I have 2 phenos going now, the first of which is showing more of an Indica lean. I hope it pans out. You got a link to the Sticky journal?

They're both out of stock, gee, I wonder why? Just my luck. It could be raining puss, and I'd get hit with a dick.

I don't really pay mind to shovel prices as I don't generally break them, so even a cheesy plastic one I make last, and if there's too much, I have a 22" snow thrower. My upcoming messiness went over my head. Do you mean my next chop?

Grizz and Pjs, I'll check out their site. Do they have any fems? Herbies only had those strains in regs.
 
You might need another to do the pheno hunt, regs only...
