Vortex's Lab: 4x4 Secondary Garden & Experimental Thread

I’ll get you a full perspective pic after bit. She’s really got a nice color profile to her, I think. Very, very purple.

More chica. Not a trich shot, just close up.

These were phone shots, so not really close enough for trich watch.

You can see from the ones at the end of the last page, from the scope, that there's getting to be some amber turning there. I am getting ready to chop Six, so will evaluate the Chica (and Blue) again later tonight, and check them again tomorrow to see. Not really after a lot of amber on either the Chica or Blue, but maybe 10%, give or take.

Farewell, Six. We knew thee well.

Interesting ending. The top buds of the branches were purple, the rest a normal green.

For reference, that’s a 20” saucer.

Not a terrible pull, and a little more than I thought it would pull.

About to give possible final looks to Chica and Blue. If I’m at least 5% amber on Chica and 8% on Blue, with the rest cloudy, then it’s more trimming for me today.

That’s what I was thinking for these two strains. Daytime for the chica, evening/social for blue.

The Chem when taken at mostly cloudy with just a few clear and a few amber has a strong head high at first that transitions into a calming body stone. It reduces the chance of couch lock which I’ve never really liked.

Damn it’s tough to get a nice shot with the scope thingy.

I’m seeing ambers, but maybe still some clear, and then some cloudy. Depends on where on the bud you look, and which bud.

I need to go try again to get a more steady shot.

The Blue looks really close and the Mex looks like it could go just a bit longer

Kind of what I've been leaning towards. The blue is right there close, but could even go a couple more days. I think next weekend might be too long though. I'm going to go back down and look at her a little harder. If it's just the very tip-tops looking ready, I may let her go until Wednesday. I don't really like trimming during the week, as the time window is really limited, but Blue isn't overly leafy and should be a semi-quick trim at least.

The mex is on that edge too, but I think that even with the ambers already coming on, there is still just a tick too many clear. Giving her another week probably puts her into cloudy with 10% amber, maybe a little more.

Looking good over here

Thanks brother!

If today or Wednesday are the choice, I think today will be alright.

There's a few places that could benefit from a few more days to get a few straggling clears to cloud up. Most of it seems to be at the cloudy with a tick amber stage though, with a few pockets here and there with a few more amber in the group.
