@Melville Hobbes was it you and me in for that Tahoe OG at strain choosing time? I remember I was with the Fredo OG association.

I feel like we’re spirit animals for that girl now?

Gogo Tahoe!
She is going to run out of there any minute.
Her roots are long enough to be legs!
Poor duck needs coco badly.
Monday, but hopefully Sunday if they open.

I need to go to the bank and get 12 months of bank statements, every page signed and stamped by the manager. Its about 100 pages of A4/Letter. When I get to the Consulate they throw 90 pages away and just use the last 3 months. Takes an hour but just messaged the bank manager, he’ll get it sorted out so I only need to sign when I get there and don't need to hang around.

Stuff like that here is great. Like old school back in the day, you have your bank managers personal cell (would have been home number in old’un times) The bank is less than 1km away. Got Marriage certificate, L’s birth certificate. Just throw some clothes in a little backpack Monday morning. The drive to the airport takes longer than the flight! 1:15 v. 50 minutes 😂. My buddy got speed boats. Took 8 hours to get to some island off Penang. Then 20 minutes to Penang and flew back to Sweden from there.

IMG_1324.jpeg

Looks nice, eh? 5 hours and then 3 hours on one of those at 40-50 knots bumping up and down is no fun! That’s one at the Phi Phi islands, they’re about 40 minutes away by boat. Maya Bay is there where the filmed the movie The Beach. You pass the island from James Bond, The Man with the Golden Gun on the way. I’m heading more south than that. Think its a twin prop plane. No jet.

I’ll bring you all back souvenirs! They’ll be some photos and stuff in my OT. See what trouble ai can get in!
Boat rides can be some of the most unpleasant modes of transportation there is. Especially when you’re in any type of rough seas. Did you kiss the ground when you reached land? lol CL🍀

It was my mate who did it. My oldest London mate. DJ and pretty boy with a bad back for years. He complained for years about that trip 😂 he’d have been about 45 at the time and said it was after that he realised he was getting ikd 🤣

Bill, nice start on your new genetics, will be interested to see those through harvest. What is up with no supply of basic grow materials? Cheers
Good morning Amigo :ciao:
I'm in rural Northern Ontario, in the boonies. Delivery is $50 bucks a bag, minimum.
There was a lady in town ran a grow shop in a local town for years.
Friendly like your granny, smart too . She retired and closed shop.
Now there's 1 left in reasonable driving distance.
He is never there, his wife opens and closes the store.
And sits in the back room watching TV In-between. But if it rains or someone has a birthday she stays home.
She doesn't know cannabis or growing and freely tells you if you ask a question.
Any question.
Don't know how they keep the doors open.
Last November maby early December I went to get coco from them.
She says he just put in an order it'll be here soon.
So I waited and waited and waited.
Go in to see her , she says oh sorry he forgot to order coco!
So same shite different day, is it in Yet???
Took forever.
So finally my bags arrived with a big bag of perlite I also had to order.
We have 1 car so I have to wait for Stacey's day off to my the trek to this place.
If we had snow I could dog sled.
So last Monday I drove all the way in there and it's closed due to power outage the day before.
So now it's been 2 months, 2 freeken months with this circus.
I am not exaggerating when I say circus.
Next time I'm paying the $50 bucks. ;)
Coffee is ready, talk soon.

Pontoon boat with a BBQ and rod holder.
That's the way to do it.
Morning Cap'n. :ciao:

Spinal compression from the bouncing would end me.:Namaste:
Good morning Nick :ciao:
Why did he go by boat ?
Had to know what would happen when they hit the throttle?

She’s happily doing her FB thing. She is totally absorbed into it but it keeps her busy so it’s all good. Can’t you reuse ♻️ last year’s coco? CL🍀

If I reuse coco I mix it 50/50 with new coco.
But all old pots are outside behind the shed , frozen.
So I could defrost a couple and dry them then breakem open and remove the roots then use what's good.
I still have that option.
Especially now the snow melted and I can see them.
Not optimal but doable. :thumb:
Come spring I'll bust them open and use it 50/50 in the greenhouse.
But I just wanted a simple bag of coco.
Now I've gone through this with them I feel obligated to buy the stuff from them.
It's comical really.
If you saw it on TV you would say it's silly, nobody is that inept.
But as it turns out they are.
I've only ever seen 1 person buy something there.
Don't know how they make rent.
The next nearest place is more than a 2 hour trip.
I don't mind honestly, I knew the deal when we moved.
We have got half an acre on the water with a beautiful chalet. :yahoo:
We traded city convince for rural heaven.
I knew things would be a bit harder to source.
I just didn't factor in the gong show.🤣😂
I'm not complaining just an update. :Namaste:
You get your lawnmower going yet?

No, no more cutting grass for me anyway. I have bartered lawn service for my Chocolate Thai bud. But it’s still a few weeks before we need it. CL🍀

On a different subject though, I ate one little Purple Mystic 🧙 🍄 last nite. And damn those mushies are potent. CL🍀
Fantastic. :thumb:
I really should get back into it.
I've so much on my plate as it is.
Hopefully before spring, we'll see.
It's just nice to see grass in February.
Better yet we don't have to cut it.

If I could retire now I would move out of the states to Canada for this reason lol. I only get to make it to Northern Ontario fishing once a year. It really resets my outlook for the rest of the year.

You might be fishing in my backyard. :high-five:
One of the many reasons I live here.
And this winter has been unbelievable.
Last year was crippling the amount of snow we had.
I've got trout, pickerel & pike steps from my door though. :green_heart:
I can put up with snow ;)

I guess I say Northern Ontario but in the Grand scheme of things it's not that north lol we are a little south of North Bay, there's no electric, no running water, no cell phone service, just propane tanks that are boated in for the lights, fridges, and stoves. It's really great for one week to unplug however if I ever make the move up I'm getting a place with electric and flush toilets 😅.

Bill, man that’s a stack up of unfortunate circumstances, including no snow! Better luck soon. Cheers

I don't mind only having a few inches of snow.
Really helps wit the ole back.
Less shoveling & hauling firewood and no trips to the chiropractor :thumb:
Website says they are open noon to 6 today.
If anyone shows up I'll be amazed. 😂
