Virgin Ground And The Little Star Asterion

Beautiful plants virgin !! Well done :goodjob:
Well, hello! How are you doing?

Somewhere around page 15 you can see the last girls close to harvest. I like these much better. Your first grow is always special though, right?

Gonna head over, see what you are up to...

First grow is indeed very special!

I’m doing great working around the house and enjoy some smoke ! Going to getting in the tent a little later and going over the girls and getting some well needed photo updates on them ! Excited to see them finish stretch and really focus on those flowers !

I hope you are well !

My pH meter came today. I cleaned it and it is sitting in storage solution for the next 24 hrs.
Then calibration and testing.

I hope it works. It did power on fine. The packaging was terrible. I can't believe it made it through the mail in one piece. It did come with an entire probe care kit including calibration solutions.

I was way too busy yesterday. I still haven't gotten to my pH pen. And I likely won't until this afternoon. Too much to do this morning.

The plants have greened up except for the tops closest to the lights. They are still a bit pale. Buds looking good. Getting nice and fat.

I need some stakes already. I'll pick those up soon.

I've been having some nasty insomnia. I think I'm going to let one of these plants go longer and get some good amber on her. Make some sleepy meds.

My pH pen works! I bought a gently used blue lab pen. $25 plus shipping.

I wasn't sure if was working correctly. It says when you calibrate there will be flashing boxes on the screen. Mine has no such boxes. It says it is calibrated. We shall we if it will hold said calibration.

I can't believe it didn't break in transit. The guy taped the pH pen to the outside of the box and put it in an envelope. Not a padded envelope either. He said he used it less than 10 times.....

I'm just glad it works. Gotta water in the morning.

25 is a steal if it works. I stick mine in fluid 7 and hold the ph button, takes about 3 sec hold, 10 sec to cycle through zero. Maybe earlier pens don't have them.

Does it read 7 and 4 or 11 in the corresponding check fluid? if so, it's calibrating/calibrated.

It gave me the check mark. Seemed to calibrate fairly quickly. I was super happy it came with the big probe care pack. Totally worth it so far.

blue lab is a good brand. congrats.
Thanks. It was posted for 20 minutes before I bought it. I don't think it would have lasted long. Had to jump at it and cross my fingers.

:goodjob::bravo:I am happy you got what you needed :):welldone:
I really needed it, bad. I'm pretty nerdy at times and like playing with equipment. Ppm meter is next on my list. I would really like to keep a more detailed notes on feeding each strain.

I wish that I could afford the apera pH and ppm combo meter. I have been seeing h&m, apera, blue lab and oakton being used in greenhouses.

i have the apera ph pen. super happy with it. i use a h&m tds/ec meter that is one half of a ph/tds combo that the ph bulb busted on. both worked great until the bulb broke, but the tds/ec meter is still good to go. picked up the apera as it was cheaper than sourcing a new probe for the h&m. would still highly recommend either, they are comparable brands.

Thanks for the heads up. I appreciate it.
