Virgin Ground And The Little Star Asterion

Hi VG, enjoying your journal. Thanks. Also your halloweenie new avatar. Your green girls are looking good. Back to the smell at lights out. I don't recall the timing but yes they do smell more strongly at different times. I was relating it to weather they are wet or dry in the watering cycle but now you made me think about the dark/light cycle. hmm. Good one. Enjoy your day. Hi Birdie
Hey, good to see you again. Yeah, see if you notice it too. I probably notice it so much because my bed is 3 ft from the tent at ground level.

You have a great day too.

I picked up some potassium bicarbonate from the wine store.

I assume I mix it with distilled water and add it by drops? I asked on a help thread.

I wonder how stable it is?

I think it tops out at 3000 ppm or something like that. Water can only take on so much co2 through surface agitation. This is in the normal range and not toxic. I need to find my notes I kept on the subject. Make sure I have this right. It's been a while.

Aside from mixing my nutrients, I don't see any real gain from it....yet. More research is needed to satisfy me, I guess.
I think I'm way off on the 3000 ppm number. I just found a paper on it.....I will get to eventually....right?

Worst Halloween ever.:(

My littlest babe got very sick. Now she's depressed about not getting to have any fun. Disappointment is so hard when you're little. Her big bro shared his candy, without being asked.

Hope y'all had fun celebrating the heathen holiday.

Awww... Sweet brother
It isn't like she had tomorrow on this one, poor thing.... Hope she feels better
Wish I was close and she could do a trick or treat on me only (I'm ill too) just to make her smile

I seem to have lost my appetite for chocolate after taking care of the little one. She was sneaking it while I was busy. Geez, was that a mess.

I'm home and we are all safe. That's all I really need. You have a good night too.

They are 26" tall from the soil level and 32" wide. Looking so much better today. They only got a tiny bit of nute burn. I have backed them off a little. I did use the potassium bicarbonate for pH up. 1/4 teaspoon per gallon worked for now.

My pH meter should be here by this evening. I hope it works. Fingers crossed. Then I will be able to know how much per gallon I should use. My current testing method does not permit this.

Right now I am glad I didn't jump the gun and do an emergency flush.

I know the pics are not the best. Took them on a kindle.

I really like taking them out of the tent and letting them bush out.

Hi
Hope little one is better today.
What a fantastic view to wake up to. Wooow
She's better and went to school. She just has a hard time ignoring the call of ...chocolate. Just like her mama.

Yup, I can't complain about the girls today. It is a lovely view, but the smell is what gets me going. I think that they are going to make some nice meds.
