Quick update. I still have a tiny leak, lol...but all in all, the RADDWC is working.

I'll have to hit home depot tomorrow for some quick dry seal. Thinking of lining the top of the foam table with panda paper. Worried the foil tape make cause heat spots.

I also relocated the chiller, less tubing needed, and flipped on the Dwarf Star @ 36".

to my new GJ where I attempt to flux 1 plant following Light Addicts' detailed steps (thanks LA!) in a hybrid Recirculating Aero Dewey Deep Water Culture rig, dubbed "RADDWC". Don't judge me. lol

So please, sit back and enjoy the ride. Should be interesting, as PennyWise and BedroomFarmer have gotten great results so far with these Dewey Misters. I have yet to flip on the Dwarf Star. Using 2 CFL bulbs at the moment.

Interesting little set up there. What kind of advantages does it have over regular deep water culture? Or have we yet to find out lol

I feel the recirculating feature via small water chilller has helped keep the water temps stable/manageable. Also, Im able to use less water by incorporating the aeroponics Dewey Misters. Keeping the water temp from rising too high before the next res change.

It's a little vertical design I thought would work out great in my small space. I had previously tried DWC and like it, but failed due to high temps/root rot. I needed to hit the drawing board.

I was still on the fence on which system to build, even bought all the parts for EbbnFlow. Lol Then I was introduced to the Deweys...my mind started racing, and the RADDWC was born. Lol

So far I've been loving the results. Im sure we'll find out if it continues soon enough. .
