Vetsmoke's Mars Hydro Hempy Happening - Powered By The FC3000

Wow! they've taken off!
Proper shifted up a gear.
Must've heard us badmouthing them
Indeed they have.
Have you added Calmag to every feed now?
:thumb:
Last feed they had calmag and again with the feed tonight. That funky leaf on the med strain doesn't appear to have spread so I'm not sure what's caused that but I won't worry about it. I'll keep adding the calmag for now.

Day 37. Far too hot and tired to be training and snipping bits off today. A days reprieve from torture.

Thanks for looking in. Hope you've all had a great weekend.

Get yourself some rest man. Those plants are doing fine with you on the sideline! :Rasta:

So the extra training happened tonight. Did a little more bending and cut the lowest nodes of each main branch. Left the fan leaves on though. Position of removed nodes are marked on the Skunk. Roughly. They should only need a little tweaking to try and maintain a fairly level canopy as each of those 4 mains goes upwards now.

It's really warm and they've been drinking lots so I topped each up with about 400ml each. Need to mix up a new feed tomorrow.

Great looking new growth so one/all of the changes you made definitely worked!

Two thoughts: if you have room when you top, leave more of a stem above the node (called the double H stump!) to prevent splitting when you bend the top brancheds down. And if you need an accurate reading of the RH, make sure not to leave the meter lying on top of the buckets. The sensor is usually on the back and you're getting a reading directly off the perlite rather than the air at the leaves. Better off hanging it from a string to the canopy height.

Thanks bud. Yeah I left the stumps as long as I could on most of them. Wasn't a great deal there.

Yeah I did think that but I've been far too lazy to hang it up  I'm gonna rig up some USB fans for more air movement this weekend so I'll try to remember while I'm doing that. :thumb:

Looks like I may get a fairly even canopy. In veg at least. Not bad for 5 different strains. The Skunk is trying to be leader of the gang but Pungent Skunk is hot on her heels now. Will be fun to see what each one does through the stretch in a couple of weeks.

So far, so good- Looks great in the tent, Vet!
The 5 plant flat canopy is nice, I hope it survives the stretch!

We both know it'll probably be chaos  Can't wait to find out though. Still not sure what height I'll flip them at. On one hand I'd like them to be fairly big but on the other I don't want to ask too much of the pot and reservoir size. Think I'd rather have 5 shorter happier plants that I can more easily manage, than 5 bigger plants that I struggle to meet their demands.

Looking bloody lovely in here my friend :thumb: what's the humidity like in there? Those coolmist ultrasonic humidifiers really bring the temps down in a smaller space, you wouldn't need it on full probably half and you can get one for £40 :green_heart: :passitleft:

Thanks bud. They had a slow start but got them singing now. The humidity has been low (mid 40's to mid 50's). I'll have to look into one of those. Can't even afford £40 right now though. I've just been soaking a teatowel and laying that in the bottom of the tent to help a little.

Just seen Future Garden have the humipro cool fog generator on sale for £35.96. Seems reasonable.
