Vetsmoke85 First Grow Stealth Cabinet

Looking good,Vet -The girls are filling out nicely, also looking good and healthy!
You're well on your way to a full house, but so far you're keeping the height under
control pretty well.
Now that they're starting to flower you're going to get quite a bit of growth-as long as you can keep most of it horizontal, things should be just fine.
Great Job so far!

Thanks buddy I appreciate the positive feedback. Let's see how the next couple of weeks go. Still loving the whole experience.

Happy with how the girls are looking tonight. Done some more LST with both.

So popped to the local hydro shop for an ona block and came away with that and another inline fan and filter to try. The guy in the shop was really helpful and said if it doesn't work then just take it back for a full refund. Also gave me a discount for being a veteran. The cannabis community really is the best.

From my experience with ona blocks, I wouldn't be holding my breath if I were you. Put it in a bathroom, will make a better use. Honestly. It helps a bit in the room where the box is, not much outside of it though.

The room isn't stinking and can't smell anything outside of the room so it's just to help a little for when the kids come in etc. Lol. Now trying to figure out how to keep the inline fan as quiet as possible before hooking that up. He's given me a can-fan filter that I think is like the one you're using.

Well you're not 6 weeks in bloom yet :) wait until then and then we talk smell :)
Good, if you have something like that, should def be ok. Regarding the fan, don't expect to find anything with enough power and less than ~38dB within 3 feet around it.

Yeah that's exactly why I want to get this installed. Just looking to try and get the noise down to a similar level the PC fans are at now. Thinking I'll try having the fan outside the cabinet in a box behind the bed. Might help a little.

Haha!
The inside of my grow house sounds like a commercial grade deep freezer. LoL

Buzzzzzzzzzz
o_O
Only inside though... outside is quiet as a mouse.

This is the filter he's given me to try.
Bingo, this one is EXACTLY the same as mine :) what did they charge you for it?
You can check my previous grow, the first page actually, for mounting ideas. I had to order a custom fitting from a friend, which, luckily, cost me only an eighth :)

Plants are starting to fill in nicely now mate and nice looking lst you've done there, I would hold off the bloom nutes until you have plenty of pistils and looks like they are about to start stretching to me also good job mate

£25 and he threw in an adaptor ring so it will slot straight into a 4 inch cutout. Made by the same company. Will get a pic of it later.

Thanks buddy. Yeah I'll see how she's looking at the next feed and maybe add a very low dose of bloom or wait even longer.

I reckon my only 2 options are fan mounted to the back of the inside of the cabinet and filter mounted directly to that. Or filter inside cabinet with a short ducting run out the back to the fan inside a box. I know before the end of the year I will have started building a new cabinet slightly bigger from scratch.

I didn't read the whole thread but I'm under the impression that you're trying to disguise the fan noise and possible smell. If you have central heat and air turn the fan to the on position while company is there that noise will help drown out the other noise. Tell your guests you have it on to try to clean the air more. And for smell you could pop couple bags of popcorn just before they get there to your house.
