Vetsmoke85 First Grow Stealth Cabinet

Hey Vet!;)

I can't really open the pics since I'm in the office now (you know, better be careful), but from the thumbnails, they look very bushy! My older auto is quite crowded too, but I never considered taking off any leaves yet. I'm worried about her not maximizing the potential she has, if I take away "areas" where she could collect photons.
However, what I tried to do (and it mostly worked for me so far), is I pulled the bigger fan leaves under the newer, smaller leaves. Well, I guess one needs some imagination to see where the leaves can go, it's just a tip that may help you. I have to notice that I could only do it with leaves that have a pretty long separate stem, but now they are below the smaller ones, and I believe it's better this way.

Keep on growing!:green_heart:
Hi Alice! Yeah that's what I tried to do where I could. Managed to get in there last night and tie some bits down, tuck etc. More of the younger growth was exposed then so I will see what a difference it made when I get home later. #2 in the small pot has been way easier. She isn't as bushy and I topped her so she has 2 main stems now that I've pulled down. She's nice and easy to work with.

Bit more LST on #1 tonight.

Question on bloom nutrients. Any of you that have experience with autoflowers. Not sure when to start them. They haven't shown any signs of nutrient deficiency or burn yet with the low dose of BioGrow so far. I am thinking the end of this week which is week 4 to start introducing a low dose of bloom nutrients with the grow. Does that sound sensible? Or should I stop the grow nutes and just use bloom & topmax? I have noticed this week that the stems have really thickened. Taking that as a good sign and they're preparing to support some nice buds.

I'm also using the BioBizz line. I've read everything I could about these nutes, and watched videos on youtube too. If you have the time, search for BioBizz on youtube, there is a great video (about 20 minutes long) where their representative talks about the different products, how to use them, when to use them, and so much additional, useful info, which is not written down anywhere else. To be honest, the guy seems like a nice guy to me, and I totally believe what he says in that video. You can also check out their official website, they have a lot of great info and feeding charts there.

My AK pushed out her first pistils 8 days ago, and it was 3 or 4 days ago when I first gave her BioBloom. I'll also introduce TopMax next feeding. Regarding BioGrow, I saw several people that keep adding a little amount of it in the entire lifecycle of the plant. Since it's a sugary product, I don't think you can go wrong with adding a bit of it in the flowering period too. I myself am planning to decrease the amount as I increase the amount of BioBloom and TopMax, but I think I'll keep adding a little Grow in flowering too. I'm also using their FishMix product, I might drop that in flowering.
If you have AlgaMic, it is said to be beneficial throughout the whole life of the plant, from seed to harvest. Since I got it, I always add about 2ml/l of it to my mixes, and I used it as a foliar spray twice, the girls liked it.

Thanks for the info Alice. I got the biobizz try pack with Grow, Bloom & Topmax. Think I will hold off adding the bloom & topmax until buds are starting to form. After watching that video I may go and get some bioheaven to start using. Bit pointless trying fishmix now I think but will definitely get some for the next grow. I'd like to use the least amount of products as possible really. Try to keep things nice and simple for the first couple of grows.

Okay so I'm little concerned now as for the last 2 or 3 days I've seen very little growth in #2 and next to none in #1. I'm thinking possibly calcium deficiency as what little new growth there is does look a bit twisted and curled. Just doesn't look good. I can feel something is off. The colouring of the leaves still looks healthy right now. Only have a blurple pic for now unfortunately. I have some epsom salts arriving today.

Looks like they are getting ready to stretch.

Pistils will start popping soon, then.... hold on to your hat! Autos tend to grow the most, right after they start flowering.
Here's a pre/post stretch on my Amnesia auto.

You're good buddy!

Oh wow! I best be all over keeping these girls tied down then. Ha ha. Thanks for the reassurance. So easy as a newb to start worrying about things and overthinking. If in another week she's still the same size I'll panic then. Ha ha.
