Vetsmoke85 First Grow Stealth Cabinet

Ah yeah good shout @Tomuk17. Maybe just 2 x 3L pots. See how these ones turn out anyway. @BeanTownFan420 thanks for the info. It's the foil tape around the pot as it's just a DIY pot made from a clear plastic bottle. I'll have to find some other tape to cover the pot with. Probably wouldn't be the worst thing I've inhaled though. Ha ha.

CFL's do a decent job,but you need a lot of them-there was 8- 60w equivalent cfl's in here,6 overhead
and one on each side. I've been using an led for a month or so now(in my new ghetto box),and they definitely work better.

Christmas tree candelabra..... a beauty...

She's certainly looking happier today.

Do you recall how many days this photo was taken in? My seedlings are 4 days old and reaching for the sky. I had them under crappy light which I believe was the issue so I moved them outside for the day. I also added water drainage holes in the "drinking" cup.

She drooped on day 2 and picked right up again on day 3. From all the advice I've been given on here is they really don't need much water. I watered the soil before planting and then I think it was 2 weeks before anymore was given. That was planting straight into the final pot though.

So I've just taken off the tie holding the eldest down. I may be wrong but it felt like the right thing to do at least for a day or two and see if she spreads out a little more. Felt to me like she couldn't breathe properly in there with all those leaves crammed together. Had to add extra carbon to the filters which in turn has reduced the airflow and increased the temperature. It's getting tricky now. They had been on a 20/4 light cycle for the last week but now because of the temp rise I've dropped them back to 18/6. See how the next couple of days go. The younger one is still loving life but the eldest seemed to have stalled a little.

Few pictures of the girls from today. #2 is flying. #1 has slowed a bit but I've had a good LST session with her today which should open her up. Both had a feed and looking healthy enough. They've had a switch of position in the cabinet too.

Hey Vet!;)

I can't really open the pics since I'm in the office now (you know, better be careful), but from the thumbnails, they look very bushy! My older auto is quite crowded too, but I never considered taking off any leaves yet. I'm worried about her not maximizing the potential she has, if I take away "areas" where she could collect photons.
However, what I tried to do (and it mostly worked for me so far), is I pulled the bigger fan leaves under the newer, smaller leaves. Well, I guess one needs some imagination to see where the leaves can go, it's just a tip that may help you. I have to notice that I could only do it with leaves that have a pretty long separate stem, but now they are below the smaller ones, and I believe it's better this way.

Keep on growing!:green_heart:

Nice LST work!
