I see similar in my tests of rooting with willow water. A full strength soak of cuts was too much and it fried them. Good news to me since it means my stockpile will need to be diluted for use and thus increase my effective supply.

Do you keep your Mother Tea over the winter months for use again in the spring? According to Master Cho and his Jadam method, there is never a reason to clean out the storage containers and the extracts just get better and more powerful with age.

And, although he doesn't speak to it, I think that the freeze/thaw cycles of winter help further break down the cell walls of the material making for an even more effective juice the following spring. Liquids expand when they freeze, and thus break the cell walls built to hold a smaller volume.

Good stuff, Dani. In another month or so I'll resurrect the JMS thread for fending off mold and bud rot and see if anyone is going to give that experiment another go, but you may have solved the riddle already with your HTF/Willow spray. :thumb:
I seen it last year and it’s still the only thing that I have seen that can prevent bud rot. Even though all the rain he had there still wasn’t bud rot. Pretty F-ng cool. CL🍀

I see, I could of just gone back a bit to review but my cell service sucks out here & have to position the body in a uncomfortable position, thanks for the answer, your willow bark solution you use is that not a stressor for plants ? I was thinking of burying a pike in my soil like the natives did with their corn think it would work or better putting it in a blender & fermenting I'm thinking about next summers grow & trying organic don't think I will reach your level but thinking of trying Ghia green product

Brother, native talks around here say to burry head of chum salmon directly in the whole where the plant will be in ground and seaweed of course. What’s not to say you can burry the Willow organic material in your soil. If you work with living soil or aim for that approach bacteria will break down all that stuff. According to my findings in reading about Salicylic acid it will enhance root health as well. I’m watering roots with Willow tea as well just not same concentration.

I would say give it try any level can be achievable bro. You got the training locked down your own style of training you know what I mean. Now you have free time to work on your soil or medium. There is way too many recipes and very very successful out there. It’s your choice.

By the way most if not all my soil amendment are Gaia green. Not a sponsor on site so I don’t blow it up. For respect.
Gaia is legit.-

You know what’s good my G.
Available for collective use. You know what I mean.

What I see so far I like, I wanna throw that Malawi pheno in there.

I want it too Cap.

Like I’m even thinking of ways I could harm that Malawi to give me even female pollen. I wouldn’t care I just want the pollen juice 🥤

😂

If I can’t cross anything this season, I gotta wait till next year…

Are you thinking about creating anything with the Durban? She is one very sexy lady and if you ever get any seeds from crossing her with something I sure would love to 💕 give her a shot @ growing. CL🍀

This is Yarrow, small harvest. It’s starting to pop so best time to harvest wild plants or flowers is when they first pop in the season as they have the bulk of nutrient and minerals right there at the shoots. Fresh mined minerals and nutrients.

Yarrow contains isovaleric acid, salicylic acid, asparagine, sterols, and flavonoids.

Nutrition Facts of Yarrow

The nutritional profile of yarrow includes a variety of flavonoids, rutin, and tannins, as well as coumarins, saponin, cineole, lactones, eugenol, terpineol, and other antioxidants. Furthermore, this herb can provide iron, phosphorous, and sulfur from its leaves.

Here is the info from last year. Post #732 page 37 of my journal.

It’s my “flowering” input for my tea. Also it’s what I like to describe as “terroir”.

Yarrow is a deep mining plant just like comfrey and horsetail so that’s why I use it, it has incredible properties! I used it last year, had no issues. It’s benefits I am not sure yet but there is definitely no issues to use it anyway. The environment is telling me to use it because it’s coming out 2 month before fall, perfect timing to avoid fall diseases and it’s low in nitrogen I’m not feeding nitrogen to my plants when they don’t need it

Ah, good deal.

I do a similar thing with my Fruit & Flower Swamp Juice. It's basically made the same way as my comfrey/nettle juice but I do ferment it separately for the reason you state.

I use big showy flowers like peonies and daylilies, and fruits of all sorts, but pumpkins and other squashes are great for K.

The funny thing is I plant the big showy flowers all around the property and people think they're there for the beauty. Little do they know they're there to contribute to the the stink known as my Swamp Juice extracts. :laughtwo:

I love it!

Another canadian here, Have not been to Vancouver island in many years. Spent a lot of time over there in my youth. Dad was in charge of the Canfisco fish packer fleet 1960-1994. Even lived for a short time in Alert bay, Tofino and Bella Coola. I grew some indoors in Surrey and now doing an outdoor in Shuswap lake.
