Found something on ferns, this is one specific to Australia.

CONCLUSION The results of our findings revealed that N. cordifolia leaflets have an enormous nutritional potential and could make a significant contribution to food supplement. The plant could be favourably be considered as good sources of phytochemicals, crude fiber, crude protein, carbohydrate, vitamin C and essential minerals. The antinutritional factors are below the recommended toxic level which makes the fern to be safe. Hence, could be recommended for consumption of man or herbivores.

Went to visit all the plants yesterday, got them the same watering and foliar I have been doing.

The Clones
They are doing great, can’t complain. Not the biggest yield attempt but I still have plans for them. As you can see the clones have a totally different environment and all the stressors that come with. Normally we should see these phenos slightly different than the mothers. Good thing is the clones reveal how the mothers are doing, Xenomoprh clones are budding really good, so is the mother. Personal Sativa clones not showing much buds rather some pistis, same as the mother.
I have 2 showing some pale green, could be nitrogen, could be root bound pots to small… the ones showing slight pale green are in pots.

After visiting the clones went to see the mothers, the view was sensational despite it being a little to dark so had to use flash on the pictures.
Did watering and foliar, took dead leaf off them and shook them to get stuff off them. No signs of sickness at least not obvious. Some little flying things not sure if white flies or moth, that are small but maybe that’s what’s eating the leaves.
Hope they like neem and horsetail… they got a soak.

Duterte’s nightmare
she is going at it, slowly going on bro flower, nothing mayor to report here. She got a lush green no signs of stress of illness, and she is stretching.

Personal Sativa
she is heading for the sky, finally over 7 ft tall she is out of control and doing her thing, I believe she will thin her self out, more and more will fall off the bottom and inside leaving all the good bud sites.

Xenomoprh
I’m so happy to see her budding, she is going to be the first to harvest. She looks sooo good. She’s got a good half dozen good looking colas forming. Can’t wait to see her fill up, see if the training mounts to something. She’s healthy and thriving.

She gets bigger and bigger, I’m assuming is the stretch. Couldn’t get the best pictures because it was dark by the time I got to her. She is doing great, thinning her self out, lots of old yellow leaf dropping. She has the potential to be a beast for harvest.

Last but not least, harvest a 5 gal bucket of ferns and started a fermentation 2 spoon of molasses and water, closed lid. Let’s see

Looks like Xenomorph is stacking nicely!
The neem should take care of those leafhoppers in her second pic.

Yeah you saw them right little white flying bug. Don’t really know what it is, too dark to actually see anything.

Stoked to see at least one of them making buds. So far she is ahead of any plant around even my friends plants. I gotta check the breeders flowering time.

“Indoors, Durban Poison takes around 8-9 weeksof flowering and can produce quite a strong aroma towards the end of bloom – ensure you have a good quality carbon filter. Outdoors, in the northern hemisphere, the buds start to swell during September and begin to reach maturity around early October”

I’m freaking happy at least one is going to harvest. Finally I will get to smoke home grown :yahoo:

This year I have worked more than usual to get here, can’t wait for harvest. It’s gonna be a long month and half brother.

Thanks for the encouragement, I can’t stop now.

Small update on the fermented stuff I got going on;

I started a jar with bananas peel, 25 of them so that’s a handful.

The wife is not particularly smiling when she sees all the bunch of jars with suspicious looking liquid hanging around in the kitchen lol

Ferns are bubbling 48 hrs. I’m gonna let this one go until I get some good Color on the water.
Thinking of using it for foliar and root watering.

I am also fermenting bana peels at the moment, along with eggshells and sea-weed. Also making another batch of Dandy-lion tea. My cedar hedges pepped up after giving them a drink. What are the benefits of fern? I have some in the back yard.

Should I use my banana and eggshell juice to ammend the soil before winter? If so, should I spray it on and mix it in? I plan on dumping my four fabric pots onto a tarp and adding organics to it.

Cheers, bro!
