Alright folks. I installed the Dwarf Star this morning. I didnt have any hanging thingamajigs to hang my fusion pro. I also didnt have time to rig it up another way. So the plants got a direct meet and greet with the new light. I love it, ice easy light to work under, not a fan of purple at all. However the camera captured the various light spectrum and these are a bit purple or weird. I will figure out the white balance with this light.
So for contests, and Instagram uploads, the preferred method is square.
But I prefer the full size shot. What do you prefer?
Nice pics man! Trying pulling the tint down into the green then decrease the yellow for more blue. That's what I been doing works ok for my setup but I got different lights than you.

Thank you Agemon! Yeah I havent had a chance to white balance this new light, lost my grey card and forgot how to do it lol, and I am no longer using a decent program so its going to be a pain. To my eyes the light was pretty normal/white. We will either figure it out or I will use a different light when taking photos lol
You should start a photography thread brother.....I need to pick your brain!!
Wow I really gotta learn this stuff one of these daysI went back to a few recent purple pics. Wanted to try out the white balance pre-set I made in the photo editor. I opened up the old file, clicked a button, and presto. The power of a DSLR.
its pretty easy with the right tools. Instructions are right in the manual I think. Its a technique that can be used in any weird light. White balance with a grey card and your set.Wow I really gotta learn this stuff one of these days
