Looking good . Nice cleaning job ..now make sure that water level in the bucket is about 1/4 below that bottom of her cup ..we are looking to encourage massive root growth :) ..believe me she will put out those little white legs to get to that nute solution and the once that are in the solution will sustain the upper half :) . I'm going to search on a bubbler for you it was one I was going to use when I was thinking of just doing buckets and it will make that solution look like there is enough 02 in there for you breath :).

this is an inexpensive kit ..there are others but it gets pricey . You can just by the aerator but I don't know if your pump in strong enough.

I hear you .. Look for a pond aerator ..you can just get the disk and see how your pump does ..the disks are like 10-15 .
 
You got me itching for an update ! Lol hopefully I will see it before I turn in :) . Yes I may be a tad bit excited over here because I am imaging some growth !

honestly....yes and no.

yes cuz my wife had 3 days off.

no cuz i spent all day yesterday cleaning up after a leaking ac unit. then i spent quite awhile readjusting my exhaust setup some. and then while mixing nutes for my other journal, i hear a bzzzz bzzzz pop and woooooo my lec315 light burned out or some damned thing.

thank god i still had all the wiring in place for the 1k hid. so all i had to do was hang it and plug it in.

oh and then this morning i got an email saying i was too late to get one of your par 38's cuz i was beyond the 20. even though the promotions page didn't have it on when you posted it. as soon as it did i ordered one.

how bout you sara? you have a good weekend?

so day 56 kicked my butt left right and straight up the middle. read my last post for explanation.

the stats......T: 81.6...RH: 42....PH: 5.9....REST: 70.4....PPM: 681.....growing bad stuff maybe??? whatever...yep thats the mood lol.

oh yeah, not a lot of negative pressure on the 5x5 but the 4x8 gets sucked in sumpin fierce.

day 57 is here and she looks happy with the light change so far.

almost ready for some topping.

the stats......T: 83.3...RH: 54....PH: 6.0....REST: 72.7....PPM: 682.....climbed one digit again...water didn't go down either, but she looks really happy n healthy today. leave it alone eh.

Looks like you have been pretty busy and had a touch of bad luck . Hope thing turn around for you .

She is looking happy ! I wouldn't worry about signal didn't climbs I let mine swing 10% of the original value ...you still have 66 to go . I would just make sure ph is looking good , other than that leave her alone.

I know it's only been like 3 days since the cleaning and putting the water level to about 1/4 inch below the bottom of the net cup...but I'm over here dieing for some root porn :) ....yeah that was a hint ..lol
 
day 58 yesterday.....weird how life predicts how you can do something as simple as journaling eh.

lmao no pain....root porn. well none today either. but i can tell ya that the slime is slowly coming back again. can't keep the temps down enough in the res. guess i might end up doing res changes twice a week at this rate. and im not about to drop $500 more for this experiment on a chiller. hell at this rate, i'm having a hard time justifying doing a diy one of an ice bucket and pump. i do have a pump, that came with my new cloner(which is not needed just yet...).

but, were i to do one...which would be the best path to take? running res water through the tubing to the chiller, or running chilled water through a tubing coil in the res?

personally i lean towards the latter, hence keeping the integrity and longevity of the pump. no salts or bacteria to build up in lines or pump that way. but i could be wrong. that's happened at least once or twice in my life lol.

the stats......T: 86.0...RH: 47....PH: 6.1....REST: 75.3....PPM: 684.....yep, up 2 more points.... might do a res change and cleaning again today.

however, she looks healthy as fawk!! and to me, its bloody irritating. she looks great but has almost zero reason to do so.

makes almost no sense to me that she should look as good as she does. the roots got some slime again, the temps are stupid high at times, particularly the room which is hitting highs of 98 or so.

soil is sooo simple.....lol never had to worry this much.

Yes life can change the game up on you .

Slime ...hmmm couple of repetitive things .. After you cleaned her with water and hydrogen peroxide you did the same to the bucket and the aerator right ? And the nute solution isn't touching the cup at all ?

I'm going to save the rest for later ..off to work I go ! Have a great day .
