Weekly Summary & Pics -
There's not much to report really. It's been kind of like watching grass grow (pun intended).
It's now 27 days since flip and things appear to be going smoothly. All of the Ganja Girl Gang with the exception of the Cookie Monster are looking nice and healthy.
The stretching has slowed but not stopped entirely. They are still inching upwards ever so slightly but should begin settling in soon.
It's been a tap water only week using a watering can to water from the top. My Bluemats carrots will be installed soon but since I've been close to home for the past few weeks I prefer to hand water.
I've been allowing the soil medium to almost completely dry out but not to the point of the girls showing any signs of stress, then giving them a good soaking without any leaching.
I gave the tent a good cleaning earlier this week, cleaned all of the drip pans really well, and removed the few dead leaves at the soil surface along with a few of the lower leaves that were spent but that's about all of the activity there is to report.
Me staring at them is not really a gardening activity is it?
Group Pics -
LSD
This girl is something else. She was the runt of the bunch when they were all seedlings but once she decided to wake up she really woke up and has not looked back since.
LA Chocolat
What can I say about this girl other than good genetics shining through. She's been a healthy and vigorous grower since day 1 and is still looking to be a star performer.
She's beginning to give off a very sweet aroma that's very soothing to the nose.
Vanilla Kush
This girl is WAY too bushy which is completely my fault. I had to prune her back several times during veg to keep her from getting too large and now she's become an unruly little mess of a bush.
Lots and lots of buds sites though. I'm trying to convince myself to not thin out some of the growth but I'm afraid that if I don't the lack of air circulation could end up causing some problems later.
Jack Herer
She's a rather boring girl but has always been really healthy looking and never gives me problems. I'm hoping that she lives up to her name.
Girl Scout Cookies #2
I've been enjoying staring at this girl so much that I've moved her from the back row the front row where I can really give her a good salivation foliar while staring at her.
Yep, she's that sexy folks. Those long and thin sativa leaves of hers are almost always pointed upward toward the lights and she has an extremely sweet and floral type aroma. I'm really pleased with the way she's shaping up.
Girls Scout Cookies #1 (Cookie Monster)
She's looking just as ragged as the day that she moved in. She's stretching out and beginning to crowd the others so I'm not sure if she'll be able to keep her spot in the grove.
If she doesn't start to behave herself soon she may be going in the compost bin. We'll see how things go over the next couple of weeks.
That's about all for now folks.
Until next time, keep your garden green and your headlights shining red.
