Hey all how be your gardens today? Hope they are all lovely and green!

Just a little shout out today for my little Molly Mcfly. She aint happy one bit. She is a WW and has kept getting this burnt spot thing and leaf discoloration. She is in soil with john Innes added so I thought it might be just too hot! So flushed like a week ago or something and aint touched her since. If people could let me know what you think!

Hey Light, based on those leaves, as others have already mentioned, this is definitely caused by a pH swing. In my experience, a pH swing leads to multiple deficiencies/lockouts simultaneously. If you notice the browning of the leaf, almost to the degree where it looks like mold...IMO that is a sign a Phosphorous lockout. Another sure sign of this is the slightly curled leaf edges. In more mature plants that are flowering, the edges curling on upper leaves of the plant would be the 1st signs of a P related problem, but in early growth, brown greyish spots indicate this as well. And notice the the distinctive 'rust' looking marks between the leaf edges...these IMO are signs of a Calcium related problem as other have mentioned.

Now it is hard to say if you are experiencing a lockout or a deficiency since your pH is stable ATM. So my best advice would be the same advice you have already heard....Plain Water haha.

Keep us updated as things progress as we might be able to pinpoint how EXACTLY to correct the problem ;)

ohh you are very stubborn.

Just add a mineral grow fertilizer(2-parts) EC 2.0-3.0 pH anywhere from 5.8 to 6.5.
And dont let you soil dry out.

@AG The first sign of a P deficiency is purple stams and has nothing to do with curled leaves
And more mature plant in flowering often dont show signs of P deficiency because P is needed in the earlier stages of the plants cycle.

So don't give plain water.
You have to have a little bit of faith in the dutchman m8.
