Tutankharmon - 400HPS - Soil Coco Mix - Grow

Yep cheers all, Mick yep ph is 6.5 as fushed her a week back with ph'd water. Ive check calibration on meter and it is spot on. So yep soil is a little hot for her. Ill just water again and let her ride it out lol. Im sure she'll be ok soon enough!

I had a plant that got burnt like that a while back and took her ages to get better. Perseverance is key here my friend. Along with plenty of patience :)

I thinks is calcium deficiency.
If your soil was "to hot:p" the tips of the younger leaves would be burned.

so dont flush with only water.
But just give them hydro ferilizer(got more ca in in than soil fertilizer)

give them EC 2.0 and dont let them dry out.

in this way the fertilizer also buffers the pH ;)

edit: you can also dilute some CaNO3 in some water and use it as a foliar spray.

Keep it green man!:cheertwo:

I doubt PH would have that much of an effect on it seeing as I rarely test mine myself ...

But that's just going off my experience so I wouldn't be able to say 100% ...

Just like Mono said. Good luck mate not that you're going to need it :)

With "to hot" i thought you ment: a to high ec.
but know i figgured out it means to high pH

am i right? sorry for the confussion

Calcium deficienties only occur when you have a low pH in your medium.

So if your pH is to high you wouldn't have calcium deficienties unless there isn't enough in you soil. or if is became a sediment along with Sulphate (CaSo4)

Sorry i have a hard time trying to explain in english..

When certain organic nutrients break down in the soil, they get hot as they decompose. Roots get burnt in this type of environment so it's better to either let a plant get bigger to feed it, wait until the nutes are broken down more, or (like I do with Happy Frog) dilute with neutral soil (or dilute the mix, if the nutes are liquid).

:peace:

Hello and thanks all. Hey Exem, many thanks for your input. I meant to hot as in it had john innes added feed in soil and it seems to be too strong. Ive used it before with good results but this WW seems very shy on feeding.
Love having an opinion from your part of the world! Please check out my other thread about fluxing. I think it will be the nuts for a style, if time in veg is no issue!

You're doing just fine.

So if you use a mineral ferilizer (Containing only ions) that don't have to break down it's never getting "to hot"? and you never get burned tips? is that a assumtion i can make according to your theorie?

no, raw minerals burn worse than minerals which have been processed by an animal or plant.

Ok, im convinced LA is into some freaky sexy bondage shit! Am i the only one who thinks this? Look at what he does to his plants!! Theyre like little bondage smoke slaves!:bitingnails:

Nive grow you got there going on man:cheertwo: Nice skills

Did u know that the film u use on your walls is made for reflecting heat?and not for reflecting light.

thats a whola lotta waist of light lightaddict.

you might want to take a look at ORCA Grow Filmâ?¢ â?? Beware of Killer Yields! New reflective technology for hydroponic gardeners and grow rooms.

I Think that would help you alot getting bigger yield.

Have a nice day m8,

Greetings from Holland

Hmmm. May check this out.
