Results from the hash run. 15g of really good 4-5* hash 10g of decent stuff and another 8g of low quality stuff for butter or other edibles. Pretty happy with that for a bunch of trim and the first time using the machine

The bungee cords work. I need to adjust the lengths a little bit. They pull the outside square out of shape enough that the inner most lines are not tight.

Gonna try making rosin out of hash today. I still don't have a press so an old hair straightener will bridge the gap till I do.

Not terrible for a first attempt. My filter bag is a coffee filter so it's far more fine than it needs to be, I tried to make sure not to press too hard too fast but the filter still blew out.

Coffee filters are about 5 micron. Way smaller than the normal 37 for hash.

Hair straightener set to lowest setting (still too hot according to IR thermometer) put the chunk of hash inside folded pouch of coffee filter and gently hold it in the plates while it warms up. Have a timer set for 3 minutes, try to get to full pressure at 3 mins and hold, last time it didn't blow out but there's too much filter, sucks up all the rosin.

Pressed a little more hash and crunched the yield numbers on this one. From .6 grams of hash I got .3 grams of rosin. 50 % yield with a hair straightener and coffee filter.
