Neat, right?! That is actually how one of my bag seed plants got her nickname, The Freak. I started a thread to when I noticed it on my lady and got some good info. I guess it's just a rare mutation that happens sometimes. I guess it usually doesn't amount to much but I left mine on, just to see what it would look like at the end. So far it only has like 3 or 4 calyxes on it if I remember right. I have considered clipping it and using paraffin wax or glycerin to save it and frame it.

What is this?! A leaf showing female parts, making buds?? On a leaf?!
 
Totally cleaned out and rearranged the grow space tonight. The lil gal has consumed a full gallon of water since Sunday night. The overachiever just a half gallon. Topped the res's with ph'd water. Wow, thirsty gals. Here are tonight's photos......

This is amazing watching these plants go thru their life cycles. Waiting to see these wonderful hairs everywhere turn red, and the trichomes are coming. The aroma when the tent is first opened is intoxicating. Wow! Loving what I see.
 
Only one thing to report tonight. Yet another rookie mistake has taken place. When checking the res on one bucket, upon replacing the lid a stem of the second plant was caught and cut right off. Dang! It was one of the tallest tops on the lil gal. Note to self....be more aware of where all stems are when working with the plants. Live and learn team. One less cola on the virgin grow. Rock the rest.
 
Sorry if I over did it with the trichome pics. This is so cool. Never in a million years did I ever think that I could get this into these babies or ever be able to exhibit photos like so many I have seen of this wonder plant. The girls are making the cultivator cheese with a "Cheshire Cat" grin......big time!
 
It's ok to laugh. In fact I hope all do get a chuckle from the following photo. So last night I informed you of a snafu of snapping off an entire limb off of the lil gal. For those keeping records, each plant has suffered a casualty. Anyway, I took the top off the stem, manicured it and am allowing it to dry and even cure.....lol.....my first ever BUD!

That's a shame about your other stem but your plants are doing so well I bet it will hardly matter... you better snap a few more off so my plants can keep up lol :)

Did you get a new camera or some other device to take those close up pictures they seem much better than other close up pics you have taken before today... Anyway they look incredible and I'm sure your "first bud" will be so great because you know you made it yourself... I have been tempted to cut off a tiny little bud like that to try from mine but I'm resisting the urge.
