Tryan2grow1 For The First Time

That's a shame about your other stem but your plants are doing so well I bet it will hardly matter... you better snap a few more off so my plants can keep up lol :)

Did you get a new camera or some other device to take those close up pictures they seem much better than other close up pics you have taken before today... Anyway they look incredible and I'm sure your "first bud" will be so great because you know you made it yourself... I have been tempted to cut off a tiny little bud like that to try from mine but I'm resisting the urge.

Comfy, the close ups are with a cheap usb microscope. Less than 20usd from wally world online. That "first bud" should be just enough to pack a one hiiter...lol....and you are so right, it's gonna be great no matter what just cause I know who made it. Resist my friend, resist. My only sample will come due to an error on my part only. Looking good, just like they should. Have a good one.

Very nice set up I'm here to watch ...

Welcome Blaze. Thanks for the kudos on my set up. Coming round to the stretch run here. Today marks the start of week 9 since these babies were put to germ.

It's ok to laugh. In fact I hope all do get a chuckle from the following photo. So last night I informed you of a snafu of snapping off an entire limb off of the lil gal. For those keeping records, each plant has suffered a casualty. Anyway, I took the top off the stem, manicured it and am allowing it to dry and even cure.....lol.....my first ever BUD!

Its so cute!!:dreamy:

Beautiful!!! :)
How many days in bloom again?

Officially only 9 days of 12/12. But pistils have been visible now for 23 days. When I received my Mars-Hydro Reflector 96, it was installed with both veg and bloom lights on from the get go so this may have contributed to triggering them to flower. Rookie error on my behalf for sure. So splitting the difference I'd put these into bloom now for 2 weeks going on 3 next Monday. Just did put them on full bloom nutrients with the res change on Thursday night.

Team, beans have been secured for the next go round. First up, Northern Light and Blue Mystic autos. Now there is even more to anticipate after this bag seed harvest completes. A great big thank you to all that have given direction on this virgin growth/experiment. We shall see if I am capable of learning from my rookie errors. Lol, rookie status at my old age.....keep the info coming team.

It has been noted that throughout this grow the recommended nutrient doses have been too high even at 50%. The first nutes were given at 1/4 strength and seemed to be ok. Each time I moved the nutes to 50% nute burn was detected after about 48 hours. This has held true now that full bloom nutes have been given. The plant on the right of all the photos, lil gal, is drinking water like no tomorrow. More than a gallon consumed since Thursday night. Just 48 hours to take on a gallon of water. The overachiever has only drank about 1/2 gal in the same time frame. Due to the nute burn noticed, only straight ph'd water is to be added.

I'm just now stepping my dosages up to 3/4 strength, well, just shy of it. But I have been regular water every other watering the whole way.

You are in coco, right. I'm DWC. Don't know if that makes a difference. The strain/pheno of the plant dictates how much they like to have I believe more than anything else. The lesson I have adopted is to let the plant tell you what it wants. Quarter nutes til the end I guess.

I think you nailed it brother. Just listen to the plants, look and listen. But, yeah, I'm coco+perlite.

I've got to check my cat when I open the tent, she steal dry leaves to eat it! :icon_roll

I have offered her some of the fan leaves and she won't touch them, but if I go outside and get her some yard grass, she eats it up. And the tent with all the fans and noise intimidates her. She takes the long way around when the tent is open.
