TripleG's Apartment Based Breeding Grounds

Finally after applying colloidal silver twice a day for 25 straight days I finally spotted the start of pollen sacks on the treated area of the plant. I was honestly starting to dread brushing that stuff on her anymore. From what I could see with my fly tying visor on there should be a good bit of pollen sacks when she gets cranked up. This is a really special plant and I'll treasure seeds from her if all goes well.

They are beautiful @beez0404 .

All of my plants are doing excellent save for the largest Sensi NL, the one with the extra long nodes and giant fan leaves. She has always been pale, but grew very vigorously and is still very much perky. The pale coloration never really bothered me, but the necrosis of the larger fans is becoming a concern. I will pull her out and take some pics after the kids go down for a nap.

This is the only plant acting in this manner.

Just a guess on my part. But a plant grown in such a small container might kill off it's largest leaves in an effort to keep the rest of the plant alive. Perhaps with the small growing pot it cannot produce enough roots to support the entire plant?

You are likely correct.

Rather than take pics and whine about my one sickly plant, I chose to eff around in the closet. Took my old DIY smd panel out. Retired her for now, freeing up a fan and driver. Looking like I can fire up one of my 66w Vero18 fixtures and take the mars300 out of the tent to be disassembled and the internal components repurposed.

Certainly looks like time to up-pot the crazy polecats. Now I have to unlazy my @$$ and prepare a fresh batch of lava rock.

I think the cobs improved the conditions of the closet immensely. I will be doing 3 more light builds coming up soon. Little different than previously planned but, a plan is just a list of things that don't happen.

@beez0404 I am thinking the roots being so oversized for the container may also be drying everything up much faster than her sister/tentmates. I feed every other day and don't really pay attention to how much anybody consumes. She was pretty dried up today. One leads to another and all that.

Skuffing and soaking seeds tonight. I know it seems counterintuitive to plant more seeds in an already crowded environment, but I have to look ahead.

The majority of the tent is mid flower. That gives me 3-4 weeks until a fairly large harvest that clears out 2/3 of the occupants. At least 1/3 of the remaining plants will be male.

Upcoming alterations to closet:

Zorillo Locos start 11/13 lights tomorrow night after up-canning.

The Devil's Pitchfork F2 auto can finish it's miserable life in a corner of the tent.

Wont know what to plant until I'm doing it

Light assembled. Should draw roughly 66w from 3 Vero18s in 3000k. Cooled by a small 12v fan under driven to 5v through a USB wall charger. This light goes in the tent in place of the Antique mars300. Tests reveal a light brighter than the sun. I ♡ cobs

Onto the seeds.........
1× Incredible Bulk auto, never grown before. It was a gift and I'm just going to go ahead and give her hell.

4x SSDC, these are in micro pots for the hell of it. Plants never yield well anyway, might as well grow a few budlets.

1x Boca Bud Glue bag seed(copyright safe GG#4) the bud this came from made my house smell like just hash

1x Glueberry bag seed, this stuff was sticky Icky and odor could easily be detected from afar. Not car safe.

All have been skuffed and are soaking for tomorrow's planting. In 2-3 weeks I plan to start a bunch of photoperiods.

Nice set of new genetics!

He said it was a trouble free plant
Sounds like my kind of plant :ganjamon:

Nice set of new genetics!
I generally don't play with bag seeds, but I needed something a bit different in the rotation. These came from stand out strains of Washington state commercial weed (boca bud glue) and private grower commercial weed (Glueberry).

I suppose, I will get that new light hung today. I tested it in the kitchen and it lit up the apartment brighter than I have ever seen it, lol. I know they're no CXB3590s, but I also know that they do their job well and that i can't afford Crees.

Mostly a photo update. I am preoccupied but wanted to at least show what's going on.

First just some multi plant shots

Now the mid flower ladies

And the youngest.

Wish I had more Inclination to ramble. I think it looks like I should get a few nice crops judging by the way things are
going. Only 1 sickly plant out of so many, not going to stress it.

Peace

Hey @Ganjagrowergu it's looking good in the garden :yummy: nice variety of flowers developing well in there! :morenutes:

Seedlings: 1/4 of the SSDC are above ground, the Glueberry is above ground and the Incredible Bulk auto is up as well.

Tomorrow I will begin checking the Devil's Pitchfork x Sensi NL x Nirvana NL IBLs for sex. Males are getting tossed. Once females show sex I anticipate an 8-10 week flowering time.

Devil's Pitchfork F2 auto has seed pods beginning to split. I will check a seed in another week or so, the plant itself is barely limping along, but the seeds need more time. Sort of wish I wouldnt have neglected her so bad. Either way, she will give me autoflower seeds so she is far from a waste considering her mistreatment.

Trying to time the next seed cracking just so. I refuse to get stuck waiting 8 weeks between crops ever again... So far things are looking fairly on track to prevent such a situation.

Two quick flowering pictures. First is the Black Cherry Punch which is flip + 35 days. She stretched until her apical cola reached the light and then she finally stopped.

This second plant is my Chem 91 X Cherry Aliendawg. She is flip + 49 days today. I expect to harvest her in 14 days.

Black Cherry Punch which is flip + 35 days.
Impressive flower production for 35 days Beez! :ganjamon: Damn that’s one hell of a main cola on her! :yahoo:
Chem 91 X Cherry Aliendawg. She is flip + 49 days today.
Wow she’s incredibly frosty!! What a beautiful flower :adore:
They’re looking awesome Beez!

Thanks irie lion

Gorgeous ladies, Beez.

I don't know why I said that I need to start checking sex on the DP x NL x NL. They are two weeks old, lol. I will start checking them on day 21, sex usually shows during the 4th week of life. Duh, lol.

Now that it has been 2 weeks since that batch popped, I do need to get something more planted....

19 minutes later...... 6 Devil's Pitchfork F1s are skuffed and soaking. No playing around today. I haven't grown but 2 of these out, the Male and female that I crossed to get my F2s. 2 weeks until the next planting.

I don't have much faith in the last batch of seeds. SSDCs have always been hit or miss with germ rates (possibly only 1 of these 4 will make it), high quality but ultra low yield, as well as with weak or sensitive roots.. in my world. Plus only 1 of 2 bagseeds popped. Gotta cover my bases

What a damn weekend... now some photos.

Things are getting along pretty well. 3/4 SSDC did not germinate. I soaked Devil's Pitchfork F1s, but I accidently soaked them for 56hrs during the chaos that was my weekend. We will know in a few days I guess. No biggie, i have plenty of those seeds, just don't like time being wasted.

The Chemdawg x Sour Angel is a bit more sensitive to the closet's cobs than the QP x Stardawg autos. I moved her to the edge of the footprint yesterday and today she looks much healthier.

The Devil's Pitchfork F2 auto in the closet is super close to finished, just looks like crap. Smells good, started plain water yesterday. I hope to keep her alive long enough to ensure the viability of her seeds.

The tent is it's own beast. I am going to start plain water on the yellowing Sensi NL and possibly but not for sure, the foxtailed Sensi NL x Nirvana NL IBL. I am pretty sure 8 weeks is creeping up on us soon.. I will fact check that though.

Harlequin stays til her seeds are finished.

Devil's Pitchfork F2 photoperiods are of the long flowering varieties. I assume they will go 10-12 weeks, I will chop at 15weeks if things get long winded.

Looking great in there @Ganjagrowergu! Loving the variety :yummy: The Sensi NL x Nirvana NL is looking like she’ll have some frosty buds for ya!

I fact checked, and the 4 NL gals and Harlequin are at 7 weeks of 11/13 today. I'm starting to get a feel for these NLs it seems. Rock hard buds on all 4.

The Devil's Pitchfork F2 photoperiods are flip +34 days.

The Devil's Pitchfork x Sensi NL x Nirvana NL IBL babies should begin flowering this week or next. They will be 3 weeks old on Wednesday. 11/13 from seed finishes most 8 week flowering strains for me in 11-12 weeks, seed to harvest. About the grow time of a modern autoflower.
