Morning Tra. Those white pistils are at the lower end of the plant and likely haven’t gotten as much light as the rest of the plant. I often have plants that are ready to harvest but keep throwing out little spurts of pistils. If she were mine I would harvest.Hi @BooWho2
I harvested Bic today. And I took this for you. It’s my Blueberry. She still has white hairs. That’s what made me think she’s not ready. Her nugs are like fucking rocks!
Do you think harvest?
L O L L I N G !Lucky me...I get the debate
Seriously made me lol.OK, I'm not a doctor or a nurse (although, I did sleep at a Holiday Inn! ) so don't take anything I say as medical advice, but...
I actually disagree. Medications are keeping people alive waaaay too long. Old Doug, who was an alcoholic from waaay back, who in his 60’s gets diagnosed with cardiovascular disease after a minor heart attack. This disease left to its own devices would have knocked him off at 70 - 75. Before his Korsakoff’s Dementia from his early years of alcohol abuse had time to take hold. But with treatment, he now gets to live to 90. His life past 75 involves attacking nurses, shitting his pants and being fed. He lives this misery for another 10 - 15 years in a lock up dementia ward.Statins work great at reducing cholesterol and, if you believe the drug companies and FDA (which is getting more and more difficult to do! ), the risks are low for serious side effects.
However, the brain is largely made up of fat tissue and, in my personal opinion, the spike in things like Alzheimer's and Dementia is directly linked to the increased use of statin medications.
Omg me too. To a point. I fuck up often. Just last night smoking a scoob that I know causes lung distress while drinking red wine and torturing my liver lol.Hyppocraties, the "Father of Modern Medicine" (Doctors take the "Hyppocratic Oath" to first do no harm, etc. in his honor, even if they don't honor their oath!) said, "Let thy food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food" and I take that to heart.
I actually think that’s great. Climate friendly too. And I made the expensive piss comment, I have the most costly piss ever! Vit C Vit D echinacea garlic Thiamine glucosamine MSM LOLLLLLINGI'm very into natural remedies and healthy foods, and especially staying away from putting chemicals in my body. I go to ridiculous lengths to avoid them including making almost everything I use or consume which is everything from my own laundry detergent to home-made ketchup & mustard to just about everything else.
I’m fully vaxed, but I respect rationale and choice.I almost never take medications, although, I wouldn't turn down an antibiotic if I needed one. Vaccines are a life-saving technology but, what we now put in vaccines as adjuvants and preservatives I'd never want in my body, and you can bet everything you hold dear that I would never inject myself with the current versions of MRNA vaxes.
I work in a highly infectious environment, so my exposure to contagious disease is so much higher than yours. If I did something else for a living, I probably wouldn’t vax at the level I do right now.I did get what I believe was Covid a couple of months ago which was the first time I've been sick with anything in years.
Me either.I don't knock anyone who does things differently than I do (most people do!) and if what one is doing is working for them, it's a great thing. It's just not the way I do it!
Thank you! I was so happy.Mimosa goes for the redemption win.
Love your pics, you make harvest seem like such a joy!
Omg don’t be so hard on yourself! I’m sure your cum sock thought you did just fine bruv.Mine tend to cause sticky fingers, frustration and deeper frown lines, reminiscent of early love

Statin-associated changes in memory, however, have been inconsistent, as observational reports of both improvement and deterioration of memory emerged. Clearly, prevention of stroke can help with preservation of memory, and potential benefit in patients with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) was noted in observational studies. However, reports and observations of deterioration of memory and slowness in thinking also emerged.
On the basis of accumulated evidence, lipid lowering in the short term does not appear to result in improvement or deterioration of cognition irrespective of baseline LDL-C levels and medication used. The present study further provides additional information that the lipo- or hydrophilicity of the statin does not affect changes in cognition. However, the potential increased risk for AD, especially among patients with baseline cognitive impairment, requires further investigation.
Conclusions: Among subjects with early mild cognitive impairment and low to moderate serum cholesterol levels at baseline, lipophilic statin use was associated with more than double the risk of converting to dementia over eight years of follow-up compared with statin non-use, and with highly significant decline in metabolism of posterior cingulate cortex -- the region of the brain known to decline the most significantly in the earliest stages of Alzheimer’s disease. In contrast, no such clinical or metabolic decline was found for users of other statins, nor statin users having higher baseline serum cholesterol levels.

Look I’m gonna be honest.First, we need to deal with this...
When you said:
I think you forgot to add "...than you are at debating" to the end and I just want to clarify that it's not like you're suggesting I need improvement, right?
True dat, coz I made it up! There is no Doug, I was just speaking generally. My experience of working in a lock up dementia ward and the meds I had to crush and feed patients daily. As for this:
Your story about Old Doug was truly riveting but not actual science. The truth is that the science is mixed on this, largely because of poorly designed tests that don't take into consideration other factors that contribute to Alzheimer's and Dementia.
There are some studies that conclude statins may actually lower the risk of AD & Dementia, other studies show an increased risk.
Here's a link to a good article from American Journal of Cardiology that discusses the discrepancies in the conflicting studies:
Statins and Your Memory: “Forget” About It? ∗

Note this:
And this:
This study in the Journal of Nuclear Medicine does show a correlation with lipophilic statins:
Lipophilic Statins in Subjects with Early Mild Cognitive Impairment: Associations with Conversion to Dementia and Decline in Posterior Cingulate Brain Metabolism in a Long-term Prospective Longitudinal Multi-Center Study
102 Objectives: Studies of the relationship between use of statins (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors) and subsequent cognitive performance have been variously reported to demonstrate beneficial, harmful, or no significant effects. We aimed to help clarify the relationship between statin use and...jnm.snmjournals.org
There conclusion was:
And, if you recall I said this
And as I said, we can always find “studies” that support a chosen narrative. I tend to get my medical advice from various Medical Consultants. Mainly coz I’m surrounded by them daily. I know little. And knowing a little information can be a dangerous thing lolling. And this (emphasis added):
I’d agree on that. So, we should be able to agree that the science is not yet settled on the link between statins and AD/Dementia which makes both of our opinions valid.
I heard about that and I think it's mistaken identity and not actually about me cuz' they said I had a "little dinghy" and I don't even own a boat!Look I’m gonna be honest.
The girls toilet wall at the 420 Mag Headquarters has something written on it. It’s about you. I think “needing improvement” is an understatement. If what is written is true, you need to overhaul your whole game plan.
LOLLING!I heard about that and I think it's mistaken identity and not actually about me cuz' they said I had a "little dinghy" and I don't even own a boat!
Omg I’m big smiling!
I just checked my big girls and my Zkittles Pee Bee had her first go under direct light. Her hands were up and drinking in that faux sun!
My little veggers are hopefully going to get a new addition. I’ve just taken a Wedding Cake Auto out of the IVF frost box.
Kk chop chop, shop shop, then drop drop time.

What can I say?Hey @Trala, good looking plants and just love that you're using the word spidermites and not nits anymore haha
Haha.. I don't have enough time trying to journal and follow along to others. I'm trying out autos now for the first time and also trying living organic soil also for the first time.. Kinda nice not having to weigh out grams of Tega Brop anymoreBooWho2 says cut, I cut babe

I’ve gone corporate. You’ll find I run a professional journal now.
Just fucking with you!
