So I finally have a day off. I’m watering today and I’m looking for advice.
Im scared to take the scissors to them after I Edward Scissorhanded Trixie that time. But should I be defolianating or what ever it’s called? And exactly what am I to do?
You can still cause them to hermie, right up until harvest, especially by varying light cycles, but they should be fine if you take some cuttings. That being said, you always want to take your cuttings in veg, in an ideal world. The cuttings you take now will be in flower and will have to go through a stressful transition phase to get back into veg. Also, you'll sacrafice whatever yield you would have gotten from those tops in flower while, had you taken them in veg, you could have given the lower nodes a chance to grow out and replace the tops you take.
