I was just checking my Uncle Ben's brown rice bag's and noticed they expirer on 4/24. I have ten bags, so I inoculated two bags with Panaeolus Cyanescens Estero spores. I also expanded the viewing port at the bottom of the bag. I don't know is this is a difficult spore to cultivate or not.
If at first I don't succeed try, try again.
The unassuming appearance of Panaeolus Cyanescens Estero belies its potency as one of the most powerful Psilocybin-containing mushrooms known. With its small-to-medium size and brown-to-white coloration, this species is highly sought after by those in the know. Panaeolus mushrooms are widespread and can be found in tropical and temperate regions around the world, making them a common sight for foragers. However, this variety, with its 2-3 times higher concentration of Psilocybin than other species like Psilocybe Cubensis, can be easily overlooked by those unfamiliar with it.
In the wild, Panaeolus Cyanescens tend to be light grey or off-white, with caps that start out light brown before fading to a pale grey. Their gills are black or grey with a spotty appearance caused by the way the pan cyan estero spores ripen in tiny patches on the gill surface. The stem is small and covered in a fine white powder, and when damaged, the mushrooms turn blue or greenish. Blue Meanies are typically found growing on cattle or horse dung in pastures and grass fields and are known to occur in tropical and sub-tropical regions year-round. In the United States, they are found along the Gulf Coast and in Florida, where they fruit virtually year-round on cow pies.
These mushrooms are believed to have been introduced to Hawaii in the early 1800s with the importation of cattle from the Philippines and can now be found throughout the tropical and subtropical regions of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. They are commonly found in countries such as Mexico, South America, Australia, India, Southeast Asia, South Africa, France, and Italy. Despite their unassuming appearance, Panaeolus Cyanescens Estero and its Blue Meanies variety are a powerful and widespread species sought after by mushroom enthusiasts around the world.

Panaeolus Cyanescens Estero is a type of psychedelic mushroom that is commonly found in the Gulf Coast region of the United States, particularly in the state of Florida. Here are some specifications about this species:
- Appearance: Panaeolus cyanescens Estero mushrooms have a slender, cylindrical stem that is typically 5-12 cm long and 2-4 mm thick. The cap is usually 1-2.5 cm in diameter and has a conical or bell shape, often with a small umbo (nipple-like protrusion) at the center. The cap color is light brown to tan, sometimes with a greenish tint, and may have a slightly translucent appearance. The gills are closely spaced and are initially grayish, turning black as the mushroom matures. The flesh is thin and fragile, and bruises blue when handled.
- Potency: These mushrooms are known for their high potency and contain a variety of psychoactive compounds, including psilocybin, psilocin, and baeocystin. The exact potency can vary, but in general, these mushrooms are considered to be more potent than other common psychedelic mushrooms such as Psilocybe cubensis.
- Effects: When consumed, Panaeolus cyanescens Estero mushrooms can produce a range of psychedelic effects, including changes in perception, mood, and thought processes. Users may experience visual and auditory hallucinations, altered sense of time, and feelings of euphoria or anxiety. The effects typically begin within 30-60 minutes of ingestion and can last for 4-6 hours or more.
- Habitat: Panaeolus cyanescens Estero mushrooms grow naturally in warm, humid environments such as pastures, lawns, and meadows. They are often found growing on or near cow dung, although they can also grow on other types of decaying organic matter.
