I just finished a shake and break on the UB Brown Rice.
In a few days I will cut an opening to let Pan Cyan start fruiting and see what happens.

I have a Rye grain jar and spores syringe coming up to home temperature before inoculating.
I keep everything in a extra refrigerator for cold storage; too cold to inoculated.
Currently shaking up the Tidal Wave spores, they are in a blob but it gets easier to break up when they warm up a little.

I hope you enjoyed your Christmas holiday? Will you be going out anywhere to celebrate New Years Eve?

I don't go out anymore for drinking holiday's, it always end bad.
Most likely it will be my wife and I at home warm and safe.
She can't smoke or enjoy anything, she is on a transplant list. Bummer.
 
I just got around to inoculating the Rye grain jar with Tidal Wave.
Now. I am back to waiting, again.

Tidal Wave did very well for me. I have lots of spore prints and some liquid culture going from them now.

How soon before you break up the rice bags and get them into a substrate?

I broke up the rice bag last night.
I need to pickup some gypsum, but I already have coco coid, and vermiculite.
Maybe I will try just coco coid and vermiculite, anyways I have about a week before I transfer to a substrate or fruit from the bag.

I have a few things going on just all very slow to start.

That is why I selected Tidal Wave out of the spore syringes I have. I used 4cc for inoculating the 32 oz. rye grain jar. If all goes well I have 5 more grain jars in cold storage. I picked up on some plastic shoe boxes.

I need to contact @Spore Genetics and ask some questions about their Nameless spores.
I am worry about my AIO bag going bad before it is full colonized.

My other half Weezy and myself will just stay home and kick it. She doesn't really smoke but she likes a good edible. I'll probably get pretty stoned and eat good food! Friends may join us but if not we can get into plenty of trouble by ourselves!! Christmas was good. I'm glad it's over. I went in the store today and saw Valentine's candy!!! Let's get to 2024 first. Dang. As far as alcohol is concerned I haven't drank it regularly for many years. I credit that to a huge dose of tiny Mushies. They looked almost like blackish toothpicks. I was 350lbs couldn't drink enough beer to even get drunk so I thought pppfffftttt whatever..... munched down a palm full and holy shit..... I'll just say this. I had smoked cigarettes for 20+ years and drank heavily for the same time and I quit both of those the same week.
Shroom + Cannabis saved my life. 💯🎶
And now that I've written a small book I'll end by saying happy Saturday!! 😎✌️

It's funny how mushrooms can change your perspective and outlook on life.

I smoked for about 55 years or so, twenty-five in the service. I was not a heavy smoker, about a pack, pack and a half a week, but I still enjoy a cigarette occasionally, not often just occasionally. I still drink a little, but I find myself wanting to drink it less and less as I get older. At least I will have herb and shrooms to take me into my twilight years with a smile on my face.

Two shoe boxes for shrooms

If I like them I can get more, but I am going to have to make modification for them to work. I will need to cut a hole in the lid and attach a clear piece of plastic for light penetration.

When I get to the fruiting stage on my boxes, I'm going to stack one upside down on the other to give room for the shrooms to grow, good air exchange and clear view for light. I saw that on a Philly Golden Teacher video, and thought it was a great idea.

These boxes are about 7 inches deep, but these are just the first boxes I am trying. The 7 inches will aloud me a 2 to 3 inch depth of my substate. I will start with these and get others if need be.

Soon we will have more members interested in trying to grow there own shrooms. It may be slow to start but members are starting to come around. More and more are starting to order supplies.

This is probably the way I will go, when and if I need to buy more boxes. The one's I have I picked up at the Dollar Store for $3.00 bucks each. I will be looking for others in the mean time.
